Classification of forest district direction according to salvage felling by cluster analysis
Forests in good health are essential to sustain wood resources and ecosystem services. Causes of negative impact on forest health include among others biotic agents like pest insects, pathogens, game and grazers, abiotic agents such as fire, wind or snow, frost or drought and anthropic causes like poor harvesting practices or air pollution.

Considering the soil compaction status on logging areas in a Hyrcanian forest
This paper deals with the issue of soil compaction during timber harvesting operations on cutting areas. Soil compaction was assessed following the logging operation in Darabkola forest area by measuring soil bulk density.

A yeast model of 5‐oxoproline accumulation reveals a general toleration to 5‐oxoproline
Using a yeast model, we show that even high accumulation of 5‐oxoproline causes only mild cellular stress and does not trigger oxidative stress. Instead, cells adapt by activating efflux pumps and diverse protective pathways, suggesting that previously proposed harmful effects of 5‐oxoproline may arise from indirect metabolic imbalances rather than the

Stage‐Dependent β‐Synuclein Links MRI and Cognitive Decline in Alzheimer's Disease
ABSTRACT Objective Synaptic degeneration drives cognitive decline in Alzheimer's disease (AD), but synaptic biomarkers are scarce. Brain‐enriched β‐synuclein emerged as a synaptic damage marker. We investigated its diagnostic, prognostic, and structural correlates across the AD continuum.
