Magneto-Electric Dipole Antenna Arrays [PDF]
A planar magneto-electric (ME) dipole antenna array is proposed and demonstrated by both full-wave analysis and experiments. The proposed structure leverages the infinite wavelength propagation characteristic of composite right/left-handed (CRLH ...

A direct computation of state deadbeat feedback gains [PDF]
Summary: This note gives a new method for computing a feedback gain which achieves state deadbeat control. From systems given in the staircase form, this method derives the deadbeat gain in a numerically reliable way. It is also shown that the gain turns out to be \(LQ\) optimal for some weightings.

Maximizing Lumen Gain With Directional Atherectomy
Purpose: To describe the use of a low-pressure balloon inflation (LPBI) technique to delineate intraluminal plaque and guide directional atherectomy in order to maximize lumen gain and achieve procedure success. Technique: The technique is illustrated in a 77-year-old man with claudication who underwent superficial femoral artery revascularization ...

Novel antenna configurations for wireless broadband vehicular communications [PDF]
In this paper, mobile WiMAX trials are analysed to investigate the vehicular down-link performance for a number of on-car antenna configurations. The directionality and optimum polarization of the vehicular antennas are shown to improve both the range ...
