In this study, we found that human cervical‐derived adipocytes maintain intracellular iron level by regulating the expression of iron transport‐related proteins during adrenergic stimulation. Melanotransferrin is predicted to interact with transferrin receptor 1 based on in silico analysis.

Phase Correcting Convoluted FSS Reflectors to Increase Directivity in Fabry-Perot Cavity Antennas [PDF]
This paper investigates a method to improve the aperture phase distribution of a Fabry–Perot cavity antenna (FPCA), using convoluted frequency selective surfaces (FSS) to improve uniformity of electromagnetic (EM) wave phase inside the cavity, thus ...

Directivity enhancement by layered radomes [PDF]
Single and layered radomes are often used to protect radiating elements. A two-dimensional analysis is used to investigate their influence on the antenna directivity and radiation patterns.

Deriving played trumpet directivity patterns from a multiple-capture transfer-function technique
The directional radiation patterns of musical instruments have long been defining characteristics known to influence their perceived qualities. Technical understanding of musical instrument directivities is essential for applications such as concert hall

Diversity and complexity in neural organoids
Neural organoid research aims to expand genetic diversity on one side and increase tissue complexity on the other. Chimeroids integrate multiple donor genomes within single organoids. Self‐organising multi‐identity organoids, exogenous cell seeding, or enforced assembly of region‐specific organoids contribute to tissue complexity.

Analysis and Design of Single-Phase Unidirectional Transducers with High Directivity
Electrode-width-controlled (EWC) single-phase unidirectional transducers (SPUDT) contribute to reduction of insertion loss of surface acoustic wave (SAW) devices due to their strong unidirectional properties. In this work, we propose a method to optimize

Ascidian Ciona larvae initially show strong clockwise tail twisting, which is largely corrected during development. However, a small residual twist remains. This study shows that organized helical myofibrils in tail muscles mechanically stabilize this residual asymmetry, preventing complete restoration of bilateral symmetry and revealing how embryos ...

Effect of directivity index of a loudspeaker on speech intelligibility [PDF]
There are many rooms are for speech communication purposes such as hall, auditorium, laboratory, meeting hall and lecture room. The main goal for communication is to understand what the speakers are saying and his words are not mistaken for other words ...
