Counting certain quadratic partitions of zero modulo a prime number
Consider an odd prime number p≡2(mod3)p\equiv 2\hspace{0.3em}\left(\mathrm{mod}\hspace{0.3em}3). In this paper, the number of certain type of partitions of zero in Z/pZ{\mathbb{Z}}\hspace{-0.1em}\text{/}\hspace{-0.1em}p{\mathbb{Z}} is calculated using a ...

On Dirichlet characters of polynomials [PDF]
In this paper our objective is to investigate the distribution of \(x\) such that \(\chi(f(x)) \ne 1\), where \(f\) is a fixed polynomial belonging to \(\mathbb Z[x]\) and \(\chi\) is a Dirichlet character of order \(q \bmod p\).

A transformation formula related to Dirichlet L-functions with principal character
We prove a transformation formula for the function for the exponential sum involving the divisor function. This formula can be applied to obtain meromorphic continuation for the Mellin transform of the square of Dirichlet L-function with principal ...

Note on the quadratic Gauss sums
Let p be an odd prime and {χ(m)=(m/p)}, m=0,1,...,p−1 be a finite arithmetic sequence with elements the values of a Dirichlet character χ modp which are defined in terms of the Legendre symbol (m/p), (m,p)=1. We study the relation between the Gauss and

Murmurations of Dirichlet Characters
Abstract We calculate murmuration densities for two families of Dirichlet characters. The first family contains complex Dirichlet characters normalized by their Gauss sums. Integrating the first density over a geometric interval yields a murmuration function compatible with experimental observations.

A Joint Elliott Type Theorem for Twists of L-Functions of Elliptic Curves
We consider a collection of L-functions of elliptic curves twisted by a Dirichlet character modulo q (q is a prime number), and prove for this collection a joint limit theorem for weakly convergent probability measures in the space of analytic functions ...
