Degree theory for 4‐dimensional asymptotically conical gradient expanding solitons

open access: yesCommunications on Pure and Applied Mathematics, EarlyView.
Abstract We develop a new degree theory for 4‐dimensional, asymptotically conical gradient expanding solitons. Our theory implies the existence of gradient expanding solitons that are asymptotic to any given cone over S3$S^3$ with non‐negative scalar curvature. We also obtain a similar existence result for cones whose link is diffeomorphic to S3/Γ$S^3/\

DECOMPOSITION OF DIRICHLET FORMS ASSOCIATED TO UNBOUNDED DIRICHLET OPERATORS [PDF]

open access: yesBulletin of the Korean Mathematical Society, 2009
In (8), the author decomposed the Dirichlet form associated to a bounded generator G of a weakly ⁄ -continuous, completely positive, KMS-symmetric Markovian semigroup on a von Neumann algebra M. The aim of this paper is to extend G to the unbounded generator using the bimodule structure and derivations.

The Role of Social Media in Exposing Greenwashing: Consumer Sentiments and Discussions

open access: yesCorporate Social Responsibility and Environmental Management, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT This study examines consumer responses to greenwashing on social media, with a focus on X (formerly Twitter), where exaggerated or deceptive environmental claims are subject to heightened public scrutiny. As sustainability becomes a pressing concern, consumers are increasingly holding companies accountable for their environmental messaging ...

Finite difference and finite element methods for partial differential equations on fractals

open access: yesRevista Integración, 2022
In this paper, we present numerical procedures to compute solutions of partial differential equations posed on fractals. In particular, we consider the strong form of the equation using standard graph Laplacian matrices and also weak forms of the ...

The Evolution of Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) and Risk and Its Implications for Sustainable Finance: A Systematic Literature Review

open access: yesCorporate Social Responsibility and Environmental Management, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Recent literature addressing ESG and risk has increased by 70% since mid‐2022, reflecting a growing interest in sustainable finance. Guided by the PRISMA flow diagram, this paper employs a hybrid systematic review methodology, combining bibliometric analysis with content analysis, to provide a comprehensive overview of the evolution of ESG and

Local elliptic regularity for solutions to stationary Fokker–Planck equations via Dirichlet forms and resolvents

open access: yesBoundary Value Problems
In this paper, we show that, for a solution to the stationary Fokker–Planck equation with general coefficients, defined as a measure with an L 2 $L^{2}$ -density, this density not only exhibits H 1 , 2 $H^{1,2}$ -regularity but also Hölder continuity. To

Species distribution modeling with expert elicitation and Bayesian calibration

open access: yesEcography, EarlyView.
Species distribution models (SDM) are key tools in ecology, conservation, and natural resources management. They are traditionally trained with data on direct species observations. However, if collecting species data is difficult or expensive, complementary information sources on species distributions are needed.

Asymptotic Behaviour of Relaxed Dirichlet Problems Involving a Dirichlet-Poincaré Form

open access: yesZeitschrift für Analysis und ihre Anwendungen, 1997
We study the convergence of the solutions of a sequence of relaxed Dirichlet prob lems relative to Dirichlet forms to the solution of the Γ -limit problem. In particular we prove the strong convergence in D^

Reclaimed Homophobic Hate Speech Backfires: Desensitization and Mood Deterioration

open access: yesEuropean Journal of Social Psychology, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Reclaimed hate speech is generally seen as a positive phenomenon by minority groups and, to some degree, by majority groups. However, previous research has not examined whether it might produce harmful effects similar to traditional hate speech.
