A KERNEL METHOD BASED ON TOPIC MODEL FOR VERY HIGH SPATIAL RESOLUTION (VHSR) REMOTE SENSING IMAGE CLASSIFICATION [PDF]
A kernel-based method for very high spatial resolution remote sensing image classification is proposed in this article. The new kernel method is based on spectral-spatial information and structure information as well, which is acquired from topic model,

Solution of an integral equation with a logarithmic kernel
A simple independent integral equation technique is presented to solve an integral equation with a logarithmic kernel which governs solutions of many two-dimensional Dirichlet boundary value problems involving two coplanar and parallel infinite strips ...

Under the time-variable Dirichlet condition, the time-fractional diffusion equation with heat absorption in a sphere is taken into consideration. The time-fractional derivative with the power-law kernel is used in the generalized Cattaneo constitutive ...

Green’s Function for a Slice of the Korányi Ball in the Heisenberg Group Hn
We give a representation formula for solution of the inhomogeneous Dirichlet problem on the upper half Korányi ball and for the slice of the Korányi ball in the Heisenberg group Hn by obtaining explicit expressions of Green-like kernel when the given ...

A priori estimates of global solutions of superlinear parabolic systems
We consider the parabolic system $ u_{t}-\Delta u = u^{r}v^{p}$, $v_{t}-\Delta v = u^{q}v^{s}$ in $\Omega\times(0,\infty)$, complemented by the homogeneous Dirichlet boundary conditions and the initial conditions $(u,v)(\cdot,0) = (u_{0},v_{0})$ in ...

Dirichlet Heat Kernel for the Laplacian in a Ball [PDF]
We provide sharp two-sided estimates on the Dirichlet heat kernel $k_1(t,x,y)$ for the Laplacian in a ball. The result accurately describes the exponential behaviour of the kernel for small times and significantly improves the qualitatively sharp results known so far.

A fundamental solution for the Laplace operator in a doubly connected domain
In this work, we find a harmonic Green function for a doubly connected domain using the theory of conformal mappings and then we define a Poisson kernel.

On an Asymptotic Property of Dirichlet Kernels
The main object of our study is the Dirichlet kernel. The properties of this trigonometric polynomial — the sum of cosines of multiple arcs — are of undoubted interest in the theory of trigonometric series.

According to the characteristics that the kernel function of extreme learning machine (ELM) and its performance have a strong correlation, a novel extreme learning machine based on a generalized triangle Hermitian kernel function was proposed in this ...
