Non‐native plants largely occupy similar climatic conditions in their invaded and native range, a pattern that co‐occurred with frequent and mostly small niche shifts. These results largely support the niche conservatism hypothesis. This boosts confidence in predictive models of non‐native plants' spread.

Distinguishing passive and driven trait evolution in the presence of boundaries
Abstract Quantifying the dynamics of macroevolutionary trends, such as changes in body size and complexity, is vital for understanding the processes that have shaped patterns of extant and extinct biodiversity. For example, whilst maximum body size may tend to increase within lineages (the Cope‐Depéret rule), it is still unclear whether such patterns ...

Abstract Adaptive management commonly addresses uncertainty in ecological systems by maintaining a set of candidate models and updating their relative weights as new data become available. Standard Bayesian model‐averaging approaches, however, implicitly assume that one of these candidate models is the true model; eventually pushing all weight onto a ...

We theoretically link convergence with decision‐making contexts via the Attention‐Based View.
