Similarity of solution branches for two-point semilinear problems

open access: yesElectronic Journal of Differential Equations, 2003
For semilinear autonomous two-point problems, we show that all Neumann branches and all Dirichlet branches with odd number of interior roots have the same shape. On the other hand, Dirichlet branches with even number of roots may look differently.

Existence results for boundary problems for uniformly elliptic and parabolic fully nonlinear equations

open access: yesElectronic Journal of Differential Equations, 1999
We study existence of continuous weak (viscosity) solutions of Dirichlet and Cauchy-Dirichlet problems for fully nonlinear uniformly elliptic and parabolic equations. Two types of results are obtained in contexts where uniqueness of solutions fails or is

Dirichlet problem and Dirichlet semi-norm

open access: yesDirichlet problem and Dirichlet semi-norm
On a finite set of vertices E in a Cartier tree, using the Green's formula, the Dirichlet semi-norm is defined and the Dirichlet solution on E is obtained as the projection on the closed subspace of harmonic functions on E.
