Robust Chinese Short Text Entity Disambiguation Method Based on Feature Fusion and Contrastive Learning

open access: yesInformation
To address the limitations of existing methods of short-text entity disambiguation, specifically in terms of their insufficient feature extraction and reliance on massive training samples, we propose an entity disambiguation model called COLBERT, which ...

Enriching Frame Representations with Distributionally Induced Senses [PDF]

open access: yes, 2018
We introduce a new lexical resource that enriches the Framester knowledge graph, which links Framnet, WordNet, VerbNet and other resources, with semantic features from text corpora.

Ambiguous keyboards for AAC [PDF]

open access: yes, 2011
Purpose – “Ambiguous keyboards” and “disambiguation processes” are becoming universally recognised through the popularisation of “predictive text messaging” on mobile phones. As this paper shows, although originating in the AT and AAC fields, these terms

Grounding Large Language Models for Robot Task Planning Using Closed‐Loop State Feedback

open access: yesAdvanced Robotics Research, EarlyView.
BrainBody‐Large Language Model (LLM) introduces a hierarchical, feedback‐driven planning framework where two LLMs coordinate high‐level reasoning and low‐level control for robotic tasks. By grounding decisions in real‐time state feedback, it reduces hallucinations and improves task reliability.

Improving word sense disambiguation using topic features

open access: yes, 2016
This paper presents a novel approach for exploiting the global context for the task of word sense disambiguation (WSD). This is done by using topic features constructed using the latent dirichlet allocation (LDA) algorithm on unlabeled data. The features are incorporated into a modified näive Bayes network alongside other features such as part-of ...

Exploring feature sets for Turkish word sense disambiguation

open access: yesTURKISH JOURNAL OF ELECTRICAL ENGINEERING & COMPUTER SCIENCES, 2016
This paper presents an exploration and evaluation of a diverse set of features that inuence word-sense disambiguation (WSD) performance. WSD has the potential to improve many natural language processing (NLP) tasks as being one of the most crucial steps in the area.

Inactivation of AXL in Cardiac Fibroblasts Alleviates Right Ventricular Remodeling in Pulmonary Hypertension

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
Pulmonary hypertension (PH) is a progressive condition with high morbidity and mortality, largely owing to right ventricular (RV) failure resulting from maladaptive remodeling. Our study provides strong evidence in support of a critical, detrimental role for AXL as a previously unrecognized determinant driving RV fibrotic pathology in PH.

Optical Fiber‐Based Versatile Wearable Force Myography System: Application to Human–Robot Interaction

open access: yesAdvanced Intelligent Systems, EarlyView.
A compact and flexible wearable force myography sensor based on optical fiber technology detects muscle activity through pressure‐induced light loss. The sensor offers high sensitivity for detecting subtle force and finger motion changes, along with excellent signal stability under dynamic and sweating conditions.
