Sub‐Terahertz Memristor Switches Using MoS2 by Liquid–Liquid Interface Assembly
This work introduces application‐ready sub‐terahertz memristor switches fabricated from electrochemically exfoliated MoS2 nanosheets assembled at a liquid–liquid interface. The devices exhibit robust unipolar resistive switching, low insertion loss, and high isolation across 10–110 GHz.

Study on Preparation and Utilization of Sediment Disaster Rainfall Information in Prefectures
Non-structural measures for prevention of sediment disaster have been introduced by prefectures based on the Sediment-related Disaster Prevention Law established after the devastating rainstorm damage in Hiroshima in 1999. They include formulation of the

A biomimetic artificial extracellular matrix is assembled directly on Pseudomonas fluorescens by co‐assembling amyloid‐like lysozyme and alginate at the cell surface. This conformal nanocoating acts as both a hydration buffer and a physiological priming layer, markedly enhancing desiccation tolerance, seed adhesion, storage stability, and biocontrol ...

Multiferroic order parameters – polarization, magnetization, and ferroelastic strain – are positioned as dynamic design variables for batteries. Their mechanistic roles, practical tuning through fabrication and external fields, and ferroic‐resolved characterization routes are unified into a closed‐loop framework, revealing how coupled ferroic responses

This paper illustrates a knowledge‐augmented dual‐track AI framework for advanced superalloy design. First, Large Language Models translate metallurgical heuristics into explicit rules to rapidly prune a vast compositional search space. Subsequently, LLM‐distilled priors safely guide a reinforcement learning agent during autonomous process optimization,

Mainstreaming disaster risk reduction into community development in the Windward Islands
The Windward Islands are vulnerable to a number of natural hazards. This thesis examines the possibilities for Disaster Risk Reduction (DRR) in the Windward Islands. The Windward Islands offer a special case of “Island Vulnerability”.

Police pre-disaster preparation
No community or city can be certain that it will not be the scene of the next disaster. The unexpected is a fact of life; it can come any time, anywhere. Offered here are the blueprints for police action before the disaster strikes.
