Abstract The Solar, Anomalous, and Magnetospheric Explorer (SAMPEX) mission launched in July 1992 was the first NASA “Small Explorer” project. It had the goal to show how space missions could be developed much more rapidly than had become the situation in the 1980s and 1990s.

Revolutionizing multi‐omics analysis with artificial intelligence and data processing
Abstract Our understanding of intricate biological systems has been completely transformed by the development of multi‐omics approaches, which entail the simultaneous study of several different molecular data types. However, there are many obstacles to overcome when analyzing multi‐omics data, including the requirement for sophisticated data processing

Recent work on the mass distribution in spiral galaxies, using mainly HI observations, is reviewed. The principal problem is still to determine to what extent the dark matter is important in the inner parts of a galaxy, or in other words, how dominant is the self-gravitation of the disc.

Abstract The use of matrix‐assisted laser desorption/ionization (MALDI) mass spectrometry for the analysis of carbohydrates and glycoconjugates is a well‐established technique and this review is the 12th update of the original article published in 1999 and brings coverage of the literature to the end of 2022.

The assembly history of disc galaxies
We present new measures of the rotation curves of disc galaxies from z~0.2 to z~1.7, using deep exposures from both DEIMOS and LRIS spectrographs on the Keck telescopes in combination with multi-band imaging from the Hubble Space Telescope. We do this with a new modelling code, curvation, which has been optimised to extract the rotation velocity ...

Abstract Participation in citizen science, a research approach in which nonscientists take part in performing research, is a growing practice in schools. A main premise in school‐based citizen science is that through their participation, students and teachers make meaningful contributions to the advancement of science.

The Rule of Law and Full‐Bodied Promulgation
Promulgation is a fundamental component of most theories about the rule of law yet remains an under‐theorised aspect of the concept. This article makes two contributions concerning the functions of promulgation in the rule of law. First, promulgation can be broken down into formal promulgation, the process of formally publishing rules, and full‐bodied ...
