Generalized Discernibility Function Based Attribute Reduction in Incomplete Decision Systems [PDF]

open access: yes, 2013
A rough set approach for attribute reduction is an important research subject in data mining and machine learning. However, most attribute reduction methods are performed on a complete decision system table.

Gourd‐Inspired Design of Unit Cell with Multiple Gradients for Physiological‐Range Pressure Sensing

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
Gourd‐shaped micro‐dome arrays with coordinated modulus, conductivity, and geometric gradients co‐optimize sensitivity and linearity in piezoresistive tactile sensors. Under pressure, a solid upper dome embeds into a porous lower dome, triggering rapid contact‐area growth and series‐to‐parallel conduction, enabling unsaturated, intensity‐resolved ...

Monocular Viewpoints Estimation for Generic Objects in the Wild

open access: yesIEEE Access, 2019
Although classification-based approaches achieved remarkable performance in viewpoints estimation, they still have limitations and face the challenging viewpoints ambiguity problem. In this paper, we analyze this problem and give solutions: 1) we propose

Attribute Set Weighting and Decomposition Approaches for Reduct Computation [PDF]

open access: yes, 2005
This research is mainly in the Rough Set theory based knowledge reduction for data classification within the data mining framework. To facilitate the Rough Set based classification, two main knowledge reduction models are proposed. The first model is an

A Kind of Affine Weighted Moment Invariants

open access: yes, 2017
A new kind of geometric invariants is proposed in this paper, which is called affine weighted moment invariant (AWMI). By combination of local affine differential invariants and a framework of global integral, they can more effectively extract features ...

Dual‐Site Ru Single‐Atoms and RuP Nanoclusters on N, P, and B Co‐Doped Porous Carbon for Efficient Alkaline HER and AEM Water Electrolysis

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
Ru single atoms and RuP nanoclusters are co‐anchored in N, P, and B co‐doped porous carbon nanospheres via in situ carbonization/phosphidation of a boronate polymer precursor. RuP activates water, while nearby Ru single atoms accelerate H2 formation through H* transfer. The catalyst delivers low overpotential and high durability in alkaline HER and AEM

Decision rule extraction for fault diagnosis by discernibility matrix [PDF]

open access: yesProceedings of the 4th International Conference on Mechatronics, Materials, Chemistry and Computer Engineering 2015, 2015
This article focuses on algorithm to directly and fast finding out the decision rule from decision tables by using rough set theory. The concept of relative rule is put forward and the method for finding absolute reduction decision rule through combining rules of relative decisional requirement sets is given in this paper.

Understanding the Role of Superhydrophobicity and Superhydrophilicity in Salt‐Spray Corrosion of Nanosecond Pulsed Laser‐Textured AA2024 Alloy

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
Nanosecond pulse laser texturing yields superhydrophobic and superhydrophilic AA2024 surfaces. Salt‐spray tests show that periodic superhydrophobic patterns suppress pitting, whereas superhydrophilic textures enhance it, linking laser‐induced morphology, wettability, and oxide chemistry to corrosion resistance.
