Arterial Blood‐Mediated Deep‐Tissue Photoacoustic Oximetry

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
The arterial prior method (APM+) for photoacoustic oximetry is introduced, which leverages the high arterial blood oxygenation to calibrate the fluence at the artery and estimate the oxygenation of the surrounding tissue, thus circumventing the spectral coloring problem. APM+’s accuracy and consistency are shown in a series of phantom and in vivo human

NIR‐II Light‐Triggered Electron Flow Initiates Cuproptosis‐Centered Thermoelectric‐Immunotherapy for Breast Cancer

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
A NIR‐II light‐activatable thermoelectric nanoreactor converts surface‐bound Cu2+ into bioactive Cu+ via directed electron flow. This spatiotemporally controlled reduction triggers potent cuproptosis and immunogenic cell death, eradicating primary tumors and, together with aPD‐1 therapy, suppressing metastases while establishing durable immune memory ...

A Generative Neuro‐Symbolic AI for Protein Sequence Design

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
We introduce EffieDes, a neuro‐symbolic framework coupling deep learning‐based fitness landscape parameterization with exact automated reasoning. Unlike greedy sampling, EffieDes identifies sequences that globally optimize fitness while satisfying intricate design constraints.

Promoting Electroreduction CO2 to Multi‐Carbon Products by Tailoring the *H Availability With Optimized Interfacial H2O Configuration

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
A catalysis system with adjustable interfacial H2O configuration was conducted by introducing ionomer into Cu. The increasing proportion of K+‐H2O can enhance the dissociation of H2O and improve the generation ability of *H, and the increasing proportion of 4‐HB‐H2O can accelerate the transfer speed of *H to *CO intermediates with the aid of strong ...

Multiscale Modelling of the Electrocatalysis of Microenzymes: Insights Into the Performance of Microperoxidase at an Aqueous/Graphene Interface and Their Exploitation to Improve Performance

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
A novel multiscale MD/DFT framework to elucidate microenzyme adsorption and electron transfer is reported. This method reveals distinct configurations for microperoxidase‐11 on graphene and those best suited for electron transfer. Rate constants align with the limited experimental data, establishing this framework as a tool for optimizing microenzyme ...
