This study shows that lung adenocarcinomas exploit developmental branching morphogenesis to acquire a therapy resistant basal‐like tumour cell state. This process was found to be regulated by combined TP53 loss‐of‐function and type‐I interferon signalling, identifying a novel axis for biomarker and therapeutic target discovery.

Valuing SF-6Dv2 Using a Discrete Choice Experiment in a General Population in Quebec, Canada [PDF]
Background An updated version of the Short-Form 6-Dimension (SF-6D) Classification System has been developed. This new version (SF-6Dv2) with improved consistency and dimension descriptors is now requiring the development of new utility value sets.

A discrete choice experiment to explore carer preferences [PDF]
Purpose The purpose of this paper is to describe a case study to test the applicability of the discrete choice experiment (DCE) method to assess the preferences of carers of people with dementia. The focus of enquiry was home care provision. Design/methodology/approach A multi-method approach was adopted for this pilot study.

Using discrete choice modellinng to investigate breast screening participation
The aim of this chapter is to show how discrete choice experiments (DCEs) can be applied to examine the preferences of women reinvited for breast screening and to use the results in developing breast screening participation enhancement ...

Trading Bankruptcy for Health: A Discrete-Choice Experiment [PDF]
Although nearly two-third of bankruptcy in the United States is medical in origin, a common assumption is that individuals facing a potentially lethal disease opt for cure at any cost. This assumption has never been tested, and knowledge of how the American population values a trade-off between cure and bankruptcy is unknown. To determine the relative ...

This protocol paper outlines methods to establish the success of a time‐resolved serial crystallographic experiment, by means of statistical analysis of timepoint data in reciprocal space and models in real space. We show how to amplify the signal from excited states to visualise structural changes in successful experiments.

Specification of the Utility Function in Discrete Choice Experiments [PDF]
The specification of the utility function has received limited attention within the discrete choice experiment (DCE) literature. This lack of investigation is surprising given that evidence from the contingent valuation literature suggests that welfare estimates are sensitive to different specifications of the utility function. This study investigates ...
