Digital Spectral Analysis by means of the Method of Averag Modified Periodograms Using Binary-Sign Stochastic Quantization of Signals

open access: yesПриборы и методы измерений, 2021
The method of averaging modified periodograms is one of the main methods for estimating the power spectral density (PSD). The aim of this work was the development of mathematical and algorithmic support, which can increase the computational efficiency of

A fast, simple, and stable Chebyshev-Legendre transform using an asymptotic formula [PDF]

open access: yes, 2013
A fast, simple, and numerically stable transform for converting between Legendre and Chebyshev coefficients of a degree $N$ polynomial in $O(N(\log N)^{2}/ \log \log N)$ operations is derived.

Grounding Large Language Models for Robot Task Planning Using Closed‐Loop State Feedback

open access: yesAdvanced Robotics Research, EarlyView.
BrainBody‐Large Language Model (LLM) introduces a hierarchical, feedback‐driven planning framework where two LLMs coordinate high‐level reasoning and low‐level control for robotic tasks. By grounding decisions in real‐time state feedback, it reduces hallucinations and improves task reliability.

Continuum Mechanics Modeling of Flexible Spring Joints in Surgical Robots

open access: yesAdvanced Robotics Research, EarlyView.
A new mechanical model of a tendon‐actuated helical extension spring joint in surgical robots is built using Cosserat rod theory. The model can implicitly handle the unknown contacts between adjacent coils and numerically predict spring shapes from straight to significantly bent under actuation forces.
