Decentralized Sliding Mode Control Using an Event–Triggered Mechanism for Discrete Interconnected Hammerstein Systems

open access: yesInternational Journal of Applied Mathematics and Computer Science
An innovative control strategy addressing the complexities of discrete interconnected nonlinear Hammerstein subsystems is presented. The approach combines decentralized sliding mode control (DSMC) with an event-triggered mechanism (ETM) to efficiently ...

Sonication‐Assisted Palladium Nanogaps in a Capacitive Structure: A Tunable and Reliable Solution for Sensitive Hydrogen Monitoring

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
This study presents a capacitive hydrogen sensor with a simple structure and process. Sonication‐induced Pd nanogaps modulate the effective electrode area in response to hydrogen concentration, resulting in capacitance changes within a range predefined by physical parameters.

Conformally Perforated Shellular Metamaterials with Tunable Thermomechanical and Acoustic Properties

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
This study introduces Conformally Perforated Shellular Metamaterials (CPSMs), which overcome TPMS design limitations by mapping 2D cellular layouts onto 3D surfaces. CPSMs exhibit enhanced elastic stiffness, thermal conductivity, and acoustic performance compared to intact P‐type shellulars, demonstrating their potential as multifunctional ...

Enhancing Metal‐Support Interactions of Ru Catalysts via Relaxation of Oxygen Vacancies for Hydrogen Production

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
Designing stable Ru nanoparticle catalyst remains a critical challenge in electrochemical applications. Here, a strategy is presented to stabilize Ru catalysts by leveraging Ce‐doped ZrO2 supports (ZrCeO2‐x), which enhance catalyst durability and activity through electronic metal‐support interactions and stabilized oxygen vacancies.

Optimal sensor selection for diagnosability enforcement of discrete event systems using labeled petri net

open access: yesIET Control Theory & Applications
This paper addresses the problem of optimal sensor selection for ensuring diagnosability of discrete event systems. Given a nondiagnosable discrete event system modeled with labeled Petri nets, a new labeling function can be designed to enforce the ...
