Random Discrete Fractional Fourier Transform

IEEE Signal Processing Letters, 2009
In this letter, a new commuting matrix with random discrete Fourier transform (DFT) eigenvectors is first constructed. A random discrete fractional Fourier transform (RDFRFT) kernel matrix with random DFT eigenvectors and eigenvalues is then proposed.

A novel discrete fractional Fourier transform

2001 CIE International Conference on Radar Proceedings (Cat No.01TH8559), 2002
The definition of the fractional Fourier transform (FRFT) is described. Several discrete FRFT methods developed previously are reviewed briefly. A novel discretization method for FRFT is presented in this paper. It has some advantages such as being easily understood and implemented compared with the previous DFRFT methods.

Pulse shape discrimination of LSO and LuYAP scintillators based on Discrete Fractional Fourier Transform

Journal of Instrumentation, 2020
Parallax error decreases the accuracy of the Positron Emission Tomography (PET) scanner. One of suitable solutions to reduce this error is to gain the depth of interaction information in a PET which uses the phoswich detectors.

Discrete fractional Hartley and Fourier transforms

IEEE Transactions on Circuits and Systems II: Analog and Digital Signal Processing, 1998
Summary: This paper is concerned with the definitions of the discrete fractional Hartley transform (DFRHT) and the discrete fractional Fourier transform (DFRFT). First, the eigenvalues and eigenvectors of the discrete Fourier and Hartley transform matrices are investigated. Then, the results of the eigendecompositions of the transform matrices are used

High-Fidelity Discrete Fractional Fourier Transform in Integrated Optics

Optical Fiber Communications Conference and Exhibition
We present an inverse-designed integrated optics device achieving a π/4-order discrete fractional Fourier transform (DFrFT) with fidelities of 0.995 (simulation) and 0.899 (experiment).

The generalized discrete fractional fourier transforms

IEEE International Conference on Acoustics Speech and Signal Processing, 2002
In this paper, we develop the generalized discrete fractional Fourier transform (GDFRFT) by factorizing the generalized discrete Fourier transform (GDFT) matrix. Specifically, the eigenvalues and eigenvectors are presented and then used to define the GDFRFT.

Extending the Tight‐Binding Model by Discrete Fractional Fourier Transform

physica status solidi (b)
An extension of the tight‐binding approximation model using the discrete fractional Fourier transform is proposed. The quantum state between localized and delocalized states is formulated, where the intermediate state is continuously parameterized.

Pansharpening scheme using filtering in two-dimensional discrete fractional Fourier transform

IET Image Processing, 2018
The aim of the pansharpening scheme is to improve the spatial information of multispectral images using the panchromatic (PAN) image. In this study, a novel pansharpening scheme based on two-dimensional discrete fractional Fourier transform (2D-DFRFT) is

Doppler Rate Estimation for Passive Synthetic Aperture Localization Based on Discrete Fractional Fourier Transform

2024 IEEE International Conference on Signal, Information and Data Processing (ICSIDP)
Doppler rate estimation is a critical issue in passive synthetic aperture (PSA) radiation source localization. However, existing Doppler rate estimation algorithms are significantly affected by the residual frequency offset (RFO) between the receiver and
