Integral geometry on discrete matrices
In this note, we study the Radon transform and its dual on the discrete matrices by defining hyperplanes as being infinite sets of solutions of linear Diophantine equations. We then give an inversion formula and a support theorem.

STROPHOIDS, A FAMILY OF CUBIC CURVES WITH REMARKABLE PROPERTIES
Strophoids are circular cubic curves which have a node with orthogonal tangents. These rational curves are characterized by a series or properties, and they show up as locus of points at various geometric problems in the Euclidean plane: Strophoids are ...

Geometry of discrete copulas [PDF]
Multivariate distributions are fundamental to modeling. Discrete copulas can be used to construct diverse multivariate joint distributions over random variables from estimated univariate marginals. The space of discrete copulas admits a representation as a convex polytope which can be exploited in entropy-copula methods relevant to hydrology and ...

On Weingarten transformations of hyperbolic nets [PDF]
Weingarten transformations which, by definition, preserve the asymptotic lines on smooth surfaces have been studied extensively in classical differential geometry and also play an important role in connection with the modern geometric theory of ...

In this paper we describe the foundation of a new kind of discrete geometry and calculus called Script Geometry. It allows to work with more general meshes than classic simplicial complexes.

The Complement of Binary Klein Quadric as a Combinatorial Grassmannian
Given a hyperbolic quadric of PG(5, 2), there are 28 points off this quadric and 56 lines skew to it. It is shown that the (286; 563)-configuration formed by these points and lines is isomorphic to the combinatorial Grassmannian of type G2(8). It is also

Information geometry, dynamics and discrete quantum mechanics [PDF]
We consider a system with a discrete configuration space. We show that the geometrical structures associated with such a system provide the tools necessary for a reconstruction of discrete quantum mechanics once dynamics is brought into the picture.

Thinnest Covering of the Euclidean Plane with Incongruent Circles
In 1958 L. Fejes Tóth and J. Molnar proposed a conjecture about a lower bound for the thinnest covering of the plane by circles with arbitrary radii from a given interval of the reals.
