Effective blind speech watermarking via adaptive mean modulation and package synchronization in DWT domain

open access: yesEURASIP Journal on Audio, Speech, and Music Processing, 2017
This paper outlines a package synchronization scheme for blind speech watermarking in the discrete wavelet transform (DWT) domain. Following two-level DWT decomposition, watermark bits and synchronization codes are embedded within selected frames in the ...

Methods for text segmentation from scene images

open access: yesELCVIA Electronic Letters on Computer Vision and Image Analysis, 2014
Camera-captured scene/born-digital image analysis helps in the development of vision for robots to read text, transliterate or translate text, navigate and retrieve search results. However, text in such images does nor follow any standard layout, and its

Multi-Objective Optimization Method for Multi-Module Micro–Nano Satellite Components Assignment and Layout

open access: yesAerospace
The assembly optimization design of satellite components is a crucial element in the overall design of satellites. In this paper, a novel three-dimensional assembly optimization design problem (3D-AODP) for multi-module micro–nano satellite components is

Network divergence analysis identifies adaptive gene modules and two orthogonal vulnerability axes in pancreatic cancer

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Tumors contain diverse cellular states whose behavior is shaped by context‐dependent gene coordination. By comparing gene–gene relationships across biological contexts, we identify adaptive transcriptional modules that reorganize into distinct vulnerability axes.

Deciphering transcriptional plasticity in pancreatic ductal adenocarcinoma reveals alterations in sensory neuron innervation

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Pancreatic sensory neurons innervating healthy and PDAC tissue were retrogradely labeled and profiled by single‐cell RNA sequencing. Tumor‐associated innervation showed a dominant neurofilament‐positive subtype, altered mitochondrial gene signatures, and reduced non‐peptidergic neurons.

Developmental programmes drive cellular plasticity, disease progression and therapy resistance in lung adenocarcinoma

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
This study shows that lung adenocarcinomas exploit developmental branching morphogenesis to acquire a therapy resistant basal‐like tumour cell state. This process was found to be regulated by combined TP53 loss‐of‐function and type‐I interferon signalling, identifying a novel axis for biomarker and therapeutic target discovery.

Rotated object detection using adaptive angle classification and dynamic sample matching

open access: yes工程科学学报
Rotated object detection (ROD) is a critical subtask in computer vision, particularly in real-world applications such as aerial remote sensing and industrial character detection, where objects frequently appear in arbitrary orientations with diverse ...

Efficacy of Intermittent Theta‐Burst Stimulation for Prolonged Disorders of Consciousness: A Prospective, Randomized, Controlled Trial

open access: yesAnnals of Clinical and Translational Neurology, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Background Emerging evidence suggests that low‐frequency neural oscillations are dynamically regulated by consciousness levels, with the recovery of low cortical activity potentially serving as a neurophysiological substrate for conscious emergence. Targeted enhancement of these low‐frequency rhythms in patients with disorders of consciousness
