Discrete decomposition of mixed-norm α-modulation spaces

open access: yesInternational Journal of Wavelets, Multiresolution and Information Processing
We study a class of almost diagonal matrices compatible with the mixed-norm [Formula: see text]-modulation spaces [Formula: see text], [Formula: see text], introduced recently by Cleanthous and Georgiadis. The class of almost diagonal matrices is shown to be closed under matrix multiplication and we connect the theory to the continuous case by ...

Memristive Motion‐Streak Neuron for Spatiotemporal Multiple Object Detection

open access: yesAdvanced Materials, EarlyView.
This work proposes motion‐streak neuron hardware using amorphous In–Ga–Zn–O optoelectronic memristors and dynamic memristors for spatiotemporal multiple‐object detection. The motion streak neuron array processes optical and electrical stimuli, allowing speed‐dependent filament relaxation to encode motion trajectories.
