Empirical‐Process Limit Theory and Filter Approximation Bounds for Score‐Driven Time Series Models
ABSTRACT This article examines the filtering and approximation‐theoretic properties of score‐driven time series models. Under specific Lipschitz‐type and tail conditions, new results are derived, leading to maximal and deviation inequalities for the filtering approximation error using empirical process theory.

ABSTRACT Digitalization of the labour process has occasioned the emergence of new temporal orders at work. For newspaper journalists, it has resulted in a radical reorganization of newsrooms and the temporalities of news production, offering a key site for studying this process of temporal reordering.

Research on Random Discrete Ordinates Method Based on Quasi-Monte Carlo Integration Technique
The discrete ordinates (SN) method proposed by Carlson constitutes an angular discretization for neutron transport equation. Owing to its superior computational accuracy and efficiency compared to alternative numerical approaches, the SN method has been ...

Emotions in Meaning‐Making: Toward a Sociological Theory of Cathexis
ABSTRACT The role of emotion in meaning‐making remains undertheorized in cultural sociology. This article argues that emotions and affect are intrinsic to meaning‐making and proposes cathexis—the attachment of emotions generated in social interaction to objects, symbols, and ideas—as the fundamental mechanism by which emotions co‐constitute cultural ...

Spinal motor neuron pools may be partly driven by impulsive common inputs
Abstract figure legend A schematic overview of the proposed motor neuron drive framework. Unlike the traditionally assumed continuous common input (cCI), we propose that impulsive common inputs (iCI) constitute a key driver of motor neuron (MN) pool activity.

The Discrete–Continuous Correspondence for Frequency-Limited Arma Models and the Hazards of Oversampling [PDF]
Discrete-time ARMA processes can be placed in a one-to-one correspondence with a set of continuous-time processes that are bounded in frequency by the Nyquist value of ? radians per sample period.

ABSTRACT Background This research employs the concept of digital maturity (DM) to characterise levels of digital use in education and to represent them on a dashboard. This dashboard should enable assessment of teachers' digital practices and tracking of their technology adoption over time, particularly when new continuing professional development ...
