Free vibration analysis of laminated cylindrical panels using discrete singular convolution

Composite Structures, 2016
Abstract Based on three-dimensional theory of elasticity, semi-analytical solutions for free vibration of cross-ply laminated cylindrical panels are derived applying the state space approach (SSA) and discrete singular convolution (DSC) algorithm. One pair of opposite edges are assumed to be with simply supported and the other pair of edges arbitrary

An efficient approach for dynamic analysis of a rotating beam using the discrete singular convolution

Proceedings of the Institution of Mechanical Engineers, Part C: Journal of Mechanical Engineering Science, 2016
This paper proposes an efficient approach for dynamic analysis of a rotating beam using the discrete singular convolution (DSC). By spatially discretizing the nonlinear equations of motion of the rotating beam using the DSC method, natural frequencies of the rotating beam are obtained.

Two classes of linear equations of discrete convolution type with harmonic singular operators

Complex Variables and Elliptic Equations, 2015
In this paper, we investigate two classes of linear equations of discrete convolution type with harmonic singular operator. Using the Laurent transform theory, we turn the above linear equations into Riemann boundary value problems. Then, the solutions of the equations are obtained in the class of Holder continuous functions.

A NEW BENCHMARK QUALITY SOLUTION FOR THE BUOYANCY-DRIVEN CAVITY BY DISCRETE SINGULAR CONVOLUTION

Numerical Heat Transfer, Part B: Fundamentals, 2001
This article introduces a high-accuracy discrete singular convolution (DSC) for the numerical simulation of coupled convective heat transfer problems. The problem of a buoyancy-driven cavity is solved by two completely independent numerical procedures.
