Enhancing Metal‐Support Interactions of Ru Catalysts via Relaxation of Oxygen Vacancies for Hydrogen Production

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
Designing stable Ru nanoparticle catalyst remains a critical challenge in electrochemical applications. Here, a strategy is presented to stabilize Ru catalysts by leveraging Ce‐doped ZrO2 supports (ZrCeO2‐x), which enhance catalyst durability and activity through electronic metal‐support interactions and stabilized oxygen vacancies.

Knowledge-Based Discrete Optimalization of Truss Structures

open access: yesEngineering Transactions, 1995
The knowledge-based approach to discrete optimization is presented in the paper. The minimization problem characterized by linear objective function and arbitrary constraints is considered when design variables have to be chosen from a set of discrete ...

Wavelength‐Dependent Differential Amplification of Raman Scattering by Chiral Gold Nanorods for Multiplexed Encoding

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
The SERS spectra of reporter molecules adsorbed on chiral gold nanorods depends on the handedness of circularly polarized light (CPL‐SERS). The bisignate plasmonic CD spectra of chiral nanorods provides wavelength‐dependent CPL‐SERS. Selective discrimination of chiral nanorod handedness and different Raman reporters allow highly sensitive codification ...

(Me4N)(NO2)2C6H3CO2 NEW MCl2 (M = Zn, Co, Cd) AND SnR3Cl (R = Me, Ph) ADDUCTS: SYNTHESIS AND INFRARED STUDY

open access: yesScientific Study & Research: Chemistry & Chemical Engineering, Biotechnology, Food Industry, 2014
Five new (Me4N)(NO2)2C6H3CO2 adducts with MCl2 (M = Zn, Co, Cd) and SnR3Cl (R = Me, Ph) have been synthesized and studied by infrared spectroscopy. The suggested structures are discrete, the anion behaving as mono- and bichelating ligand towards MX2, tri-

Rapid Diagnostics of Reconfigurable Intelligent Surfaces Using Space‐Time‐Coding Modulation

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
A fast reconfigurable‐intelligent‐surface (RIS) diagnostics method is proposed based on spatio‐temporal modulation with orthogonal codes. Theoretical analysis demonstrates a clear distinction in code channel power between normal and faulty elements. Simulations validate its feasibility under high fault ratios and varying receiving angles.

Ring structures and the discrete Fourier transform

open access: yesAdvances in Applied Mathematics, 1985
This paper calls our special attention to ring structures of angle operators in finite Fourier transformation. An idea of the ring structures is developed to construct algorithms for the finite Fourier transform on the groups: \[ {\mathbb{Z}}/(p^ s{\mathbb{Z}})\oplus {\mathbb{Z}}/(p^ s{\mathbb{Z}})\oplus...\oplus {\mathbb{Z}}/(p^ s{\mathbb{Z}}). \]

Double Helical Plasmonic Antennas

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
Plasmonic double helical antennas funnel circularly polarized light to the nanoscale, offering strong chiroptical interaction and directional light emission. Extending a single helix design tool, this study combines numerical modeling with experimental validation, revealing large, broadband dissymmetry factors in the visible range.
