Digital Actuation Control of Soft Robotic Origami With Self‐Folding Liquid Crystal Elastomer Hinges
Self‐folding soft‐rigid hybrid robotic origami is enabled by liquid crystal elastomer actuators with embedded Joule heating and closed‐loop digital control. Digitally addressable hinges provide reversible and programmable transitions between distinct folded states while maintaining actuation performance at high cycle counts (over 1500).

Data-Driven Event-Triggering Control of Discrete Time-Delay Systems
This paper investigates the data-driven event-triggering control of discrete time-delay systems. When there is enough data available, the system parameters can be determined by identified methods, and the model-based controller design can be implemented.

Multiple Input Delays Estimation Using an Artificial Bee Colony Algorithm
This paper focuses on the time delay estimation of the system described in the form of discrete-time state equation with multiple input delays. To estimate the input delays, a new evolutionary computation called the artificial bee colony (ABC) algorithm ...

Networked control systems in the presence of scheduling protocols and communication delays
This paper develops the time-delay approach to Networked Control Systems (NCSs) in the presence of variable transmission delays, sampling intervals and communication constraints. The system sensor nodes are supposed to be distributed over a network.

Divorce for the Unworthy: Specific Grounds for Divorce [PDF]
Transmission power control is essential in CDMA systems in order to reduce the near-far effect and to optimize the bandwidth utilization, which is critical when variable data rates are used.

Nanosecond pulse laser texturing yields superhydrophobic and superhydrophilic AA2024 surfaces. Salt‐spray tests show that periodic superhydrophobic patterns suppress pitting, whereas superhydrophilic textures enhance it, linking laser‐induced morphology, wettability, and oxide chemistry to corrosion resistance.

Discrete-Time Event-Triggered Control of Nonlinear Wireless Networked Control Systems
This paper investigates the problem of stabilization of nonlinear discrete-time networked control systems (NCSs) with event-triggering communication scheme in the presence of signal transmission delay.

Reverberating activity in a neural network with distributed signal transmission delays [PDF]
It is known that an identical delay in all transmission lines can destabilize macroscopic stationarity of a neural network, causing oscillation or chaos.

An Engineered Living Material With Pro‐Angiogenic Activity Inducible by Near‐Infrared Light
NIR‐responsive engineered living materials (ELMs) for controlled angiogenesis: Near‐infrared (800 nm) light activates engineered probiotic bacteria within alginate‐based living materials to secrete a blood vessel‐regenerating protein. The released protein promotes pro‐angiogenic effects in endothelial networks and chick chorioallantoic membranes.

A Sufficient Condition for Asymptotic Stability of Discrete-Time Interval System with Delay
The asymptotic stability of discrete-time interval system with delay is discussed. A new sufficient condition for preserving the asymptotic stability of the system is presented by means of the inequality techniques.
