Effect of time delay on a detritus-based ecosystem

open access: yesInternational Journal of Mathematics and Mathematical Sciences, 2006
Models of detritus-based ecosystems with delay have received a great deal of attention for the last few decades. This paper deals with the dynamical analysis of a nonlinear model of a detritus-based ecosystem involving detritivores and predator of ...

Cellular Responses to Mechanical Cues Across Scales: From Fundamental Insights to Translational Potential

open access: yesAdvanced Healthcare Materials, EarlyView.
This review examines how cellular behavior is regulated by mechanical cues transmitted through soft biomaterials, from single‐cell mechanosensing to tissue‐level adaptation. It highlights why physiological relevance, rather than model complexity alone, is critical for translational mechanobiology and introduces a scoring framework linking material ...

Opportunities of Semiconducting Oxide Nanostructures as Advanced Luminescent Materials in Photonics

open access: yesAdvanced Materials, EarlyView.
The review discusses the challenges of wide and ultrawide bandgap semiconducting oxides as a suitable material platform for photonics. They offer great versatility in terms of tuning microstructure, native defects, doping, anisotropy, and micro‐ and nano‐structuring. The review focuses on their light emission, light‐confinement in optical cavities, and

On finite time delay dependent stability of linear discrete delay systems: Numerical solution approach [PDF]

open access: yesScientific Technical Review, 2015
In this paper, a possible solution of the basic nonlinear quadratic matrix equation was proposed. The solution is crucial in the formulation of the particular criteria for the delay-dependent finite time stability of discrete time delay systems ...

Asymptotic Stability of Delay-Controlled Nonlinear Stochastic Systems with Actuator Failures

open access: yesShock and Vibration, 2017
The problem of asymptotic stability of delay-controlled nonlinear stochastic systems with actuator failures is investigated in this paper. Such a system is formulated as a continuous-discrete hybrid system based on the random switch model of failure ...

Room‐Temperature Skyrmionic Synapse in 2D Ferromagnet Fe3GaTe2 Operating via Collective Spin Texture Transformation

open access: yesAdvanced Materials, EarlyView.
We demonstrate a neuromorphic synapse in 2D Fe3GaTe2 flakes. The device operates via a current‐driven transformation from a skyrmion‐lattice to a stripe‐domain state, yielding a linear anomalous Hall resistance response with a tunable slope to enable multiply‐accumulate operations. Simulations confirm its viability in artificial neural networks.

Consensus control of discrete-time heterogeneous multi-agent systems

open access: yes工程科学学报, 2016
Consensus problems were investigated for discrete-time heterogeneous multi-agent systems composed of first-order agents and second-order agents. Distributed consensus protocols with and without the bound communication delay were respectively designed. By

Direct Synthesis of High‐Valence Protein@UiO‐66 Composites: Linking Crystallization Pathways to Protein Encapsulation

open access: yesAdvanced Materials, EarlyView.
This work reports a direct, biocompatible method to synthesize UiO‐66, enabling one‐step encapsulation of proteins without compromising crystallinity or activity. Using advanced in situ and ex situ techniques, the study reveals that proteins integrate concurrently with MOF growth, forming crystalline protein@UiO‐66 nanoparticles, and provide insight ...

Mathematical Model for Economic Growth, Corruption and Unemployment: Analysis of the Effects of a Time Delay in the Economic Growth

open access: yesAppliedMath
In this article, we propose a nonlinear mathematical model that incorporates a discrete time delay. The model is used to analyze the dynamics of a socioeconomic system that includes economic growth, corruption, and unemployment.
