Relationship Between Neurologic Symptoms and Signs and FMR1 Genotype in Premutation Carriers
ABSTRACT Background and Objectives Fragile X‐associated Tremor/Ataxia Syndrome (FXTAS) is the most severe late‐onset condition caused by a premutation in the FMR1 gene, characterized by expanded CGG triplet repeats of 55–200. Clinical presentations of FXTAS, including gait ataxia, kinetic tremor, cognitive decline, and rare Parkinsonism, are linked to ...

ABSTRACT Background Cognitive impairment is a common non‐motor symptom in Multiple Sclerosis (MS), negatively affecting autonomy and Quality of Life (QoL). Innovative rehabilitation strategies, such as semi‐immersive virtual reality (VR) and computerized cognitive training (CCT), may offer advantages over traditional cognitive rehabilitation (TCR ...

An Analytical Approach to Min-Time Control of Discrete-Time Linear Systems with Constrained Input [PDF]
Employing discrete-time techniques, the min-time control of continuous-time dynamical systems is mainly studied through an analytical framework. To this aim, the exact discrete-time model of the linear time-invariant systems is specified through a zero ...

Pattern avoidance in dynamical systems [PDF]
Orbits generated by discrete-time dynamical systems have some interesting combinatorial properties. In this paper we address the existence of forbidden order patterns when the dynamics is generated by piecewise monotone maps on one-dimensional closed ...

This article proposes a convergent adaptive observer for a damped wave PDE and an infinite‐dimensional ODE coupled in cascade using sampled‐in‐space ODE state measurements. The proposed observer estimates the distributed states of the PDE and ODE along with unknown PDE parameters and spatial input.

Chaotic Dynamics and Control of a Discrete‐Time Chen System
We investigate a discrete‐time Chen system. First, we give the topological classifications of the fixed points of this system. Then, we analytically show that the discrete Chen system underlies a Neimark–Sacker (NS) bifurcation and period doubling (PD) under specific parametric circumstances.

New Stability Conditions for a Class of Nonlinear Discrete-Time Systems with Time-Varying Delay
In this paper, the stability problem of discrete time delay systems is investigated. The class of systems under consideration is represented by delayed difference equations and models nonlinear discrete time systems with time varying delay.

Predicting extreme defects in additive manufacturing remains a key challenge limiting its structural reliability. This study proposes a statistical framework that integrates Extreme Value Theory with advanced process indicators to explore defect–process relationships and improve the estimation of critical defect sizes. The approach provides a basis for
