Interrogating the immune landscape of microsatellite stable RAS‐mutated colon cancer

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
COLOSSUS project RAS‐mutated MSS colon cancer study explored transcriptomics and immune cell density by immunohistochemistry (IHC), Immunoscore (IS), ISIC/TuLIS scores, mutation counts, and detected different prevalences but similar microenvironment composition across immune markers with clinical relevance for future immunotherapy combination ...

A Unified Method for Detecting Phylogenetic Signals in Continuous, Discrete, and Multiple Trait Combinations

open access: yesEcology and Evolution
Phylogenetic signals are widely used in ecological and evolutionary studies. Trait data used to detect phylogenetic signals can be continuous or discrete, but existing indices are designed for either type, not both.

Determining correlation between probability of stability and reliability at discrete systems [PDF]

open access: yesTehnika, 2015
The existence of correlation between probability of stability and reliability of discrete dynamical systems is proven in this paper. Calculated correlation coefficient shows very high level of correlation.

Discrete Hamilton-Jacobi Theory

open access: yes, 2011
We develop a discrete analogue of Hamilton-Jacobi theory in the framework of discrete Hamiltonian mechanics. The resulting discrete Hamilton-Jacobi equation is discrete only in time.

Deciphering transcriptional plasticity in pancreatic ductal adenocarcinoma reveals alterations in sensory neuron innervation

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Pancreatic sensory neurons innervating healthy and PDAC tissue were retrogradely labeled and profiled by single‐cell RNA sequencing. Tumor‐associated innervation showed a dominant neurofilament‐positive subtype, altered mitochondrial gene signatures, and reduced non‐peptidergic neurons.

Numerical Solution for Classical Optimal Control Problem Governing by Hyperbolic Partial Differential Equation via Galerkin Finite Element-Implicit method with Gradient Projection Method

open access: yesIbn Al-Haitham Journal for Pure and Applied Sciences, 2019
This paper deals with the numerical solution of the discrete classical optimal control problem (DCOCP) governing by linear hyperbolic boundary value problem (LHBVP). The method which is used here consists of: the GFEIM " the Galerkin finite element

A note on negative λ-binomial distribution

open access: yesAdvances in Difference Equations, 2020
In this paper, we introduce one discrete random variable, namely the negative λ-binomial random variable. We deduce the expectation of the negative λ-binomial random variable.

The Effect of Caputo Fractional Variable Difference Operator on a Discrete-Time Hopfield Neural Network with Non-Commensurate Order

open access: yesFractal and Fractional, 2022
In this work, we recall some definitions on fractional calculus with discrete-time. Then, we introduce a discrete-time Hopfield neural network (D.T.H.N.N) with non-commensurate fractional variable-order (V.O) for three neurons.

KLK7 overexpression promotes an aggressive phenotype and facilitates peritoneal dissemination in colorectal cancer cells

open access: yesFEBS Open Bio, EarlyView.
KLK7, a tissue kallikrein‐related peptidase, is elevated in advanced colorectal cancer and associated with shorter survival. High KLK7 levels in ascites correlate with peritoneal metastasis. In mice, KLK7 overexpression increases metastasis. In vitro, KLK7 enhances cancer cell proliferation, migration, adhesion, and spheroid formation, driving ...
