Discrete generalized fractional operators defined using h‐discrete Mittag‐Leffler kernels and applications to AB fractional difference systems

Mathematical Methods in the Applied Sciences, 2020
This study investigates the h‐fractional difference operators with h‐discrete generalized Mittag‐Leffler kernels ( in the sense of Riemann type (namely, the ABR) and Caputo type (namely, the ABC). For which, we will discuss the region of convergent. Then, we study the h‐discrete Laplace transforms to formulate their corresponding AB‐fractional sums ...

A geometrically defined discrete hodge operator on simplicial cells

IEEE Transactions on Magnetics, 2006
Discrete electromagnetism (DEM)-in the authors' view-should be a self-consistent theory, mirroring the properties of the continuous electromagnetic theory in a discrete setting. Any recursion to continuous techniques can be interpreted as an inconsistency in the discrete theory.

Exponential Stability for Discrete Time Linear Equations Defined by Positive Operators

Integral Equations and Operator Theory, 2005
In this paper the problem of exponential stability of the zero state equilibrium of a discrete-time time-varying linear equation described by a sequence of linear positive operators acting on an ordered finite dimensional Hilbert space is investigated.

Discrete-time linear equations defined by positive operators

2009
In this chapter we study a class of discrete-time deterministic linear equations, namely discrete-time equations defined by sequences of positive linear operators acting on ordered Hilbert spaces. As we show in Chapter 3 such equations play a crucial role in the derivation of some useful criteria for exponential stability in the mean square of the ...

ETE XX — Discrete Black Holes Well-Defined: Operational Detection, First-Principles Evaporation, and a Holographic Page Curve

We give an entirely discrete and operational definition of a discrete black hole (DBH) inthe ETE front and fix several foundational gaps. A DBH is a connected interior region whosenodes exhibit (i) high discrete curvature μ, (ii) reading saturation above a threshold, and (iii)low outward conductance, producing a measurable causal shadow.
