Hyaline Membrane Disease in Twins

Pediatrics, 1968
In analyzing the evidence for the role of prematurity and the significance of added stress in the pathogenesis of hyaline membrane disease, it seems pertinent to examine the occurrence of the disease in twins. Dupuytren’s Disease in Identical Twins

Journal of Hand Surgery, 1993
The aetiology of Dupuytren’s disease remains unknown, although hereditary and environmental influences have been implicated. Previous reports have suggested that identical twins will develop identical contractures. This paper reports two pairs of identical twins, in each of which only one twin has evidence of Dupuytren’s disease.
