Defining Optimally Safe and Effective Blood Levels of Hydroxychloroquine in Lupus: An Important Step toward Precision Drug Monitoring

open access: yesArthritis &Rheumatology, Accepted Article.
Background Using hydroxychloroquine (HCQ) dose of 5 mg/kg/day in systemic lupus erythematosus (SLE) is associated with a higher risk of flares; HCQ blood level monitoring could be a better way to adjust HCQ dose. We studied the upper threshold for a reference range of HCQ levels to inform routine monitoring.

Body habitus considerations in US anatomical body donation programs—Perspectives and practices from program guidelines

open access: yesAnatomical Sciences Education, EarlyView.

A global overview of anatomical science education and its present and future role in biomedical curricula

open access: yesAnatomical Sciences Education, EarlyView.
How the anatomical sciences are taught worldwide is constantly changing. Common themes are a reduction of teaching time and the inclusion of e‐learning and new pedagogical approaches. Although there is a common direction of change, where different global regions place along that trajectory often correlates with their economic status.
