An examination of EU trade disintegration scenarios [PDF]

open access: yes, 2020
This paper demonstrates the welfare implications of the differential disintegration of the EU. Using a structural gravity approach, our estimates suggest that the rest of the EU countries have much more to lose from the disintegration of the EU compared ...

Disintegration of the Scrophulariaceae [PDF]

open access: yesAmerican Journal of Botany, 2001
A molecular systematic study of Scrophulariaceae sensu lato using DNA sequences of three plastid genes (rbcL, ndhF, and rps2) revealed at least five distinct monophyletic groups. Thirty‐nine genera representing 24 tribes of the Scrophulariaceae s.l. (sensu lato) were analyzed along with representatives of 15 other families of Lamiales.

N-Formylated Peptide Induces Increased Expression of Both Formyl Peptide Receptor 2 (Fpr2) and Toll-Like Receptor 9 (TLR9) in Schwannoma Cells—An In Vitro Model for Early Inflammatory Profiling of Schwann Cells

open access: yesCells, 2020
Following nerve injury, disintegrated axonal mitochondria distal to the injury site release mitochondrial formylated peptides and DNA that can induce activation and inflammatory profiling of Schwann cells via formyl peptide receptor 2 (Fpr2) and toll ...

Comparison of childhood disintegrative disorder and disintegrative psychosis not diagnosed as childhood disintegrative disorder [PDF]

open access: yesPsychiatry and Clinical Neurosciences, 2005
Abstract  To clarify the difference of Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders (4th edn; DSM‐IV) childhood disintegrative disorder (CDD) from International Classification of Diseases (9th revision; ICD‐9) disintegrative psychosis (DP), 10 CDD children (mean age, 7.7 years) and 18 DP children (mean, 6.5 years) not diagnosed as CDD divided ...

Orodispersible Polymer Films with the Poorly Water-Soluble Drug, Olanzapine: Hot-Melt Pneumatic Extrusion for Single-Process 3D Printing

open access: yesPharmaceutics, 2020
Amorphous solid dispersions (ASDs) improve the oral delivery of poorly water-soluble drugs. ASDs of olanzapine (OLZ), which have a high melting point and low solubility, are performed using a complicated process.

Entropy Under Disintegrations [PDF]

open access: yes, 2021
We consider the differential entropy of probability measures absolutely continuous with respect to a given $σ$-finite reference measure on an arbitrary measurable space. We state the asymptotic equipartition property in this general case; the result is part of the folklore but our presentation is to some extent novel.

Mechanical sludge disintegration for the production of carbon source for biological nutrient removal. [PDF]

open access: yes, 2007
The primary driver for a successful biological nutrient removal is the availability of suitable carbon source, mainly in the form of volatile fatty acids (VFA). Several methods have been examined to increase the amount of VFAs in wastewater.
