Poly(maleic acid) – A novel dispersant for aqueous alumina slurry
Poly(maleic acid) (PMA) was investigated as an anionic long chain dispersant for the preparation of highly loaded aqueous alumina slurry. Suspensions with 1wt% alumina powder were prepared through variation of PMA concentrations at pH 9 to assess its ...

Origin of the ultrahigh‐rate charge capability of FeS2: FeS2 demonstrates exceptional high‐rate charging capability, delivering 92% capacity retention at 10 C and maintaining as much as 60% capacity retention even at 30 C. This originates from an ultrahigh apparent diffusion coefficient involving both Li+ and Fe2+.

ABSTRACT Silicon anodes, with a theoretical capacity of ~3860 mAh g−1, offer more than ten times the lithium storage of graphite but suffer from large volume expansion during lithiation, leading to particle fracture, electrical disconnection, and unstable solid–electrolyte interphases (SEIs). In this study, we present a rheology‐guided materials design

C‐Terminal Nucleobase Modification Amplifies Peptide‐Mediated Liposome Fusion
Let's come together right now. Cationic peptides are known to promote aggregation of negatively charged liposomes through electrostatic interaction. The process is reversible: once neutrality is achieved, liposomes disaggregate. Here, we demonstrate that end‐capping peptides with nucleobases turns the process into irreversible fusion.

Effects of dispersant and ZDDP additives on fretting wear [PDF]
This paper examines the effect of dispersant and anti-wear additives on fretting wear in lubricated bearing steel contacts. Reciprocating sliding ball-on-flat fretting tests with a stroke length of 50 μm have been carried out on steel-to-steel contacts ...
