Enantioselective Determination of Chiral Fungicides in Food Samples Using Automated Dispersive Microextraction Coupled With UHPLC–MS/MS

open access: yesFood Frontiers, Volume 7, Issue 2, March 2026.
The use of fatty acids and bio‐derived solvents eliminates the need for toxic solvents and, when combined with automated workstations, enables parallel sample processing, thereby improving extraction efficiency and reducing human error. ABSTRACT An enantioselective analytical method based on automated dispersive liquid–liquid microextraction (DLLME ...

Influence of Film Thickness on Screen‐Printed BiFeO3 Photoelectrodes for Nitrogen Reduction Reaction

open access: yesNano Select, Volume 7, Issue 3, March 2026.
Influence of film thickness on screen‐printed BiFeO3‐photoelectrodes for nitrogen reduction reaction. Optimization of BiFeO3‐based photoelectrodes film thickness for nitrogen conversion into ammonia by photo‐electrochemical cell. After 1 h of PEC reaction, a faradic efficiency close to 90% for ammonia at ‐0.4 V versus NHE is obtained.

Degradation and Restoration of Anthrosols in the Amazonia Under Contrasting Agricultural Practices: Evidence From the Assessment of Soil Physical Quality and Carbon and Nitrogen Stocks

open access: yesJournal of Sustainable Agriculture and Environment, Volume 5, Issue 1, March 2026.
ABSTRACT This study was conducted to assess the impact of different agricultural practices on the physical quality and the carbon and nitrogen stocks of anthropogenic soils used by smallholder farmers in Central Amazonia, Brazil. Undisturbed and disturbed soil samples were collected at three depths (0–0.10 m, 0.10–0.20 m, and 0.20–0.30 m), with five ...
