Disperse Dyes in Fabrics of Patients Patch-Test-Positive to Disperse Dyes
American Journal of Contact Dermatitis, 2003Little evidence exists that dyes to which individuals are patch test positive are in those garments that they suspect cause their dermatitis, which makes diagnosis and management of colored-textile allergic contact dermatitis difficult. We determined whether disperse dyes to which a patient suspected of having a colored garment-dye contact allergy were ...

Dispersant-free dyeing of polyester with temporarily solubilised disperse dyes
Coloration Technology, 1999In an effort to overcome some of the environmental problems associated with the use of dispersing agents, four temporarily solubilised disperse dyes had previously been synthesised and characterised for use in dispersant‐free polyester dyeing. In this paper the dyeing and fastness characteristics of these dyes on polyester fabrics have been examined ...

Pyridyl-substituted azobenzene disperse dyes
Dyes and Pigments, 1992Abstract N,N-Disubstituted aminoazobenzene dyes containing a 2-pyridyl substituent were prepared and used for the dyeing, as disperse dyes, of polyamide, polyester and cellulose acetate. The dyeings and the fastness tests gave very satisfactory results.

Thermodynamics of Dyeing with Disperse Dyes
Fibre Chemistry, 2019The article investigates thermodynamic parameters of the dyeing process. The enthalpy change during dyeing with disperse dyes was determined. An equation for the dyeing process with the same conditions for the same type of dyes is proposed.

Electrochemical Oxidation of Dyeing Baths Bearing Disperse Dyes
Industrial & Engineering Chemistry Research, 2000This paper presents the results of the electro-oxidation of pollutants in synthetic textile wastewater containing partially soluble disperse dyes. The experiments were performed in an electrochemical undivided cell reactor using seven different anode materials and 0.1 M NaCl as the supporting electrolyte.

Synthesis and dyeing properties of novel disperse dyes. Part 2: Pyrazole disperse dye derivatives
Journal of the Society of Dyers and Colourists, 1998Several new disperse dyes derived from thiosemicarbazides and acetoacetanilide have been synthesised. The dye structures were ascertained by chemical analysis and infrared measurements. Prepared dyes were used for dyeing nylon fabric by the exhaustion method. The colour strengths and dye fixation on the fabric were also determined.
