Macrophagic Sclerostin Loop2‐ApoER2 Interaction Required by Sclerostin for Cardiovascular Protective Action

open access: yesAdvanced Science, Volume 13, Issue 8, 9 February 2026.
Sclerostin loop2‐ApoER2 interaction in macrophages is required by sclerostin to suppress NF‐κB nuclear translocation and phosphorylation, to promote macrophage conversion into anti‐inflammatory subtypes in atherosclerotic aortas, as well as to prevent atherosclerosis and aortic aneurysm development in ApoE−/− mice. Abstract Therapeutic antibody against

Externally Dispersed Interferometry For Terrestrial Exoplanet Detection

open access: yes, 2011
Terrestrial exoplanets are observationally challenging to detect and characterize. Compared to gas giant exoplanets, terrestrial exoplanets introduce significantly smaller radial velocity signals and transit depths on their host stars. The signals are larger for terrestrial exoplanets orbiting M-dwarf stars, which have lower masses and radii than Sun ...

Surface Symphony: Orchestrating DPPC/DOPC Monolayer Behavior

open access: yesMicroscopy Research and Technique, Volume 89, Issue 2, Page 207-217, February 2026.
Langmuir trough and atomic force microscopy reveals the physical nature of DPPC and DOPC mixed monolayers. ABSTRACT This study investigates the impact of environmental factors and lipid composition on the structural and morphological properties of DPPC/DOPC (1,2‐Dipalmitoyl‐sn‐glycero‐3‐phosphocholine/1,2‐dioleoyl‐sn‐glycero‐3‐phosphocholine ...

Look‐up table correction for beam hardening‐induced signal of clinical dark‐field chest radiographs

open access: yesMedical Physics, Volume 53, Issue 2, February 2026.
Abstract Background The microstructure of material at a μm$\,\umu\mathrm{m}$ length scale leads to ultra‐small‐angle scattering of X‐rays, which typically occurs, e.g., for lung tissue or some plastic foams. When using an interferometer, this effect alters the visibility of the fringe pattern, which can be detected and resolved by the detector.

Stabilization versus flexibility: Detergent‐dependent trade‐offs in neurotensin receptor 1 GPCR ensembles

open access: yesProtein Science, Volume 35, Issue 2, February 2026.
Abstract Detergents provide essential membrane‐mimetic environments for studying G protein‐coupled receptors (GPCRs), but their molecular impact on receptor energetics remains incompletely understood. We combined ligand binding, thermostability measurements, and atomistic molecular dynamics to dissect detergent‐ versus ligand‐driven stabilization in a ...

Advances in Therapeutic Antibody Discovery and Development Targeting G Protein‐Coupled Receptors

open access: yesPharmacology Research &Perspectives, Volume 14, Issue 1, February 2026.
ABSTRACT G protein‐coupled receptors (GPCRs) are integral to numerous biological processes and are associated with various diseases across all therapeutic areas. Consequently, GPCRs present substantial potential for antibody‐based therapies. This review offers an overview of the therapeutic GPCR‐antibody target landscape and examines the diversity ...

Magma Storage Below Sabancaya Volcano (Southern Peru) Imaged by Broadband Magnetotellurics

open access: yesJournal of Geophysical Research: Solid Earth, Volume 131, Issue 2, February 2026.
Abstract Sabancaya volcano is one of the most active volcanoes in the Central Andes. Its ongoing eruptive process is accompanied by large‐scale deformation, with activation of the Huambo‐Cabanaconde fault system, marked by intense seismicity over an area of about 50 × 30 km2 ${\mathrm{k}\mathrm{m}}^{2}$.

CTRIP‐HyDAS: A Global‐Scale Data Assimilation Framework for SWOT‐Derived Discharge Using Synthetic Observations at High Resolution (1/12°)

open access: yesWater Resources Research, Volume 62, Issue 2, February 2026.
Abstract The integration of satellite‐based observations into hydrological models offers transformation potential for improving discharge predictions globally, especially in regions lacking in situ measurements. This study presents CTRIP‐HyDAS, a global‐scale hydrological data assimilation framework that merges SWOT‐derived discharge observations with ...
