Micro/Nano displacement measurement using sub-pixel DSCM

open access: yes, 2011
A selection method of subset size in sub-pixel displacement registration is proposed. The algorithm principle of interpolation, fitting of distribution of the correlation coefficients and gradient-based methods are introduced.

Epigenetic heterogeneity and plasticity in therapy‐induced tumor states through single‐cell multi‐omics

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Single‐cell multi‐omics reveals epigenetic heterogeneity across therapy‐adaptive tumor states, including quiescent/dormant, drug‐tolerant persister, and EMT‐like phenotypes. By linking regulatory features with state‐associated biomarkers, these approaches inform biomarker‐guided therapeutic strategies for evolving tumors.

CONFIRMATION AND FALSIFICATION OF EQUILIBRIUM DISPLACEMENT MODELS

open access: yes
One of the most important principles in any science is testing and consequently confirmation and falsification. In agricultural economics, the equilibrium displacement model is a popular modeling approach that presently is not testable and consequently ...

In vitro and in silico modelling of ROS1‐positive non‐small cell lung cancer reveals fusion‐dependent tyrosine kinase inhibitor responses

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Drug resistance limits treatment success in a subset of lung cancers driven by ROS1 gene alterations. Using patient‐derived cells and computer simulations, we studied three key mutations and how they affect five targeted drugs. The mutations reduced drug effectiveness in different ways by altering protein structure and behavior.

ZW4864‐mediated inhibition of the β‐catenin/BCL9/BCL9L complex reveals therapeutic potential in bladder cancer

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
BCL9 and BCL9L drive bladder cancer progression by enhancing β‐catenin signaling, promoting proliferation, migration, invasion, and organoid growth. Genetic depletion of BCL9(L) suppresses malignant phenotypes, while pharmacological disruption of the β‐catenin/BCL9(L) complex with ZW4864 inhibits canonical Wnt signaling and tumor‐associated cellular ...

Evaluation of air-displacement plethysmography in children aged 5-7 years using a three-component model of body composition

open access: yes, 2003
The aim of the present study was to evaluate air-displacement plethysmography (ADP) in children aged 5-7 years. Body-composition measurements were obtained by ADP, H-2 dilution and anthropometry in twenty-eight children. Calculation of body volume by ADP

Micro-displacement and Profile Measurement Using a Selfmixing Interferometry

open access: yes, 2021
Self-mixing interferometry (SMI) is a promising non-contact sensing technology, which has attracted much research attention in the last few decades. The SMI effect takes place when a small portion of laser is back-scattered from an external target and re-
