Growth, transfer printing and colour conversion techniques towards full-colour micro-LED display
, 2020Micro light-emitting diode (micro-LED) display, mainly based on inorganic GaN-based LED, is an emerging technique with high contrast, low power consumption, long lifetime and fast response time compared to liquid crystal display (LCD) and organic light ...

In this paper, we describe a new type of an autovisible immaterial display, capable of completely disappearing and re-emerging at will. The system reacts to the actions of its users proactively before the users are aware of their participation in any interaction, or even the existence of the display itself. The system is based on a vanishing immaterial

Electrotactile Display for Integration with Kinesthetic Display
RO-MAN 2007 - The 16th IEEE International Symposium on Robot and Human Interactive Communication, 2007The goal of this study is to develop a haptic interface for dexterous manipulation. To achieve this, we proposed electrotactile-kinesthetic integration. Our electrotactile display presents natural touch sensations of objects. In addition, this display is so small that it is considered to not affect the moving range of fingers.

Ribosome display is a powerful polymerase chain reaction-based in vitro display technology that is well suited to the selection and evolution of proteins. This technology exploits cell-free translation to achieve coupling of phenotype and genotype by the production of stabilized ribosome complexes, whereby translated protein and their cognate mRNA ...
