The Basics of Display Calculi [PDF]

open access: yes, 2017
The aim of this paper is to introduce and explain display calculi for a variety of logics. We provide a survey of key results concerning such calculi, though we focus mainly on the global cut elimination theorem.

Survival Outcomes and Complications Among Canadian Children With Retinoblastoma: A Population‐Based Report From CYP‐C

open access: yesPediatric Blood &Cancer, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Purpose Retinoblastoma (RB) is the most common pediatric ocular cancer, yet population‐based data on survival and risk factors remain limited. This study aimed to describe survival in a large national RB cohort and identify predictors of death and complications.

Integrated Active-Matrix Capacitive Sensor Using a-IGZO TFTs for AMOLED

open access: yesIEEE Journal of the Electron Devices Society, 2018
We report a capacitive touch sensor using a-IGZO TFTs as active components to improve touch sensitivity and output robustness. The output potential difference between touched/untouched states is 1.7 V without readout buffer.

Brightly Luminescent and Color-Tunable Colloidal CH3NH3PbX3 (X = Br, I, Cl) Quantum Dots: Potential Alternatives for Display Technology.

open access: yesACS Nano, 2015
Organometal halide perovskites are inexpensive materials with desirable characteristics of color-tunable and narrow-band emissions for lighting and display technology, but they suffer from low photoluminescence quantum yields at low excitation fluencies.

Personalized Selumetinib Dosing in Pediatric Neurofibromatosis Type 1: Insights From a Pilot Therapeutic Drug Monitoring Study

open access: yesPediatric Blood &Cancer, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Objective To evaluate selumetinib exposure using therapeutic drug monitoring (TDM) in pediatric patients with neurofibromatosis type 1 (NF1) and plexiform neurofibromas (PN), assess interpatient pharmacokinetic variability, and explore the relationship between drug exposure, clinical response, and adverse effects.

Floating body effect in indium–gallium–zinc–oxide (IGZO) thin-film transistor (TFT)

open access: yesScientific Reports
In this paper, the floating body effect (FBE) in indium-gallium-zinc-oxide (IGZO) thin-film transistor (TFT) and the mechanism of device failure caused by that are reported for the first time.

Capacitor Reused Gate Driver for Compact In-Cell Touch Displays

open access: yesIEEE Journal of the Electron Devices Society, 2021
A thin-film transistor (TFT) integrated gate driver is proposed for compact in-cell touch display, where one capacitor is reused for both turning on low-level maintaining transistors via voltage coupling and maintaining the re-start charge during the ...

GlobalFestival: Evaluating Real World Interaction on a Spherical Display [PDF]

open access: yes, 2015
Spherical displays present compelling opportunities for interaction in public spaces. However, there is little research into how touch interaction should control a spherical surface or how these displays are used in real world settings.

Liquid crystal display and organic light-emitting diode display: present status and future perspectives

open access: yesLight: Science & Applications, 2017
Recently, ‘Liquid crystal display (LCD) vs. organic light-emitting diode (OLED) display: who wins?’ has become a topic of heated debate. In this review, we perform a systematic and comparative study of these two flat panel display technologies. First, we

Improved Baseline Correction Method Based on Polynomial Fitting for Raman Spectroscopy

open access: yesPhotonic Sensors, 2018
Raman spectrum, as a kind of scattering spectrum, has been widely used in many fields because it can characterize the special properties of materials. However, Raman signal is so weak that the noise distorts the real signals seriously. Polynomial fitting
