Giant Electrostriction in Halide Perovskites Revisited With Double‐Modulation Interferometry
A giant electrostrictive effect in lead halide perovskites had been reported previously. This work uses sensitive interferometry to measure the electromechanical response of various halide perovskite samples. The results reveal no intrinsic electrostrictive compression. Instead, the materials expand primarily under an applied electric field as a result

Random dynamics of dispersive-dissipative wave equations driven by nonlinear colored noise
This paper is devoted to the asymptotic behavior of solutions to a class of non-autonomous random dispersive-dissipative wave equations driven by nonlinear colored noise defined on unbounded domains.

Functional models for Nevanlinna families [PDF]
The class of Nevanlinna families consists of \(\mathbb{R}\)-symmetric holomorphic multivalued functions on \(\mathbb{C} \setminus \mathbb{R}\) with maximal dissipative (maximal accumulative) values on \(\mathbb{C}_{+}\) (\(\mathbb{C}_{-}\), respectively)

The design of intrinsically robust stretchable semiconducting polymers was achieved through OTBS‐mediated post‐functionalization of PDPP2T side chains with UPy units, generating dual hydrogen‐bonding motifs comprising weaker urethane linkages and strong quadruple UPy interactions along the long alkyl side chain, which is crucial for achieving desirable

Exterior integrability: Yang–Baxter form of non-equilibrium steady-state density operator
A new type of quantum transfer matrix, arising as a Cholesky factor for the steady-state density matrix of a dissipative Markovian process associated with the boundary-driven Lindblad equation for the isotropic spin-1/2 Heisenberg ( XXX ) chain, is ...

Chemically Fueled Systems Chemistry Across Length Scales
Chemically fueled reaction cycles regulate processes through single and multiple catalytic sites on the molecular and assembly scale. This gives rise to unique kinetically controlled properties/functions like spatio‐temporal catalysis, oscillations, optical properties, and perform work.

A polymerizable deep eutectic solvent is reinforced with tannic acid‐modified cellulose nanofibers to construct a hierarchical dynamic eutectogel network. Synergistic covalent and reversible interactions impart ultrahigh stretchability, high ionic conductivity, broad temperature tolerance, self‐healing, and strong adhesion, enabling robust wearable ...

ABSTRACT Sutures are crucial for tissue approximation and wound healing. Besides their strength limits requirement, they often fail to effectively address complications like infection and pain. Inspired by natural silk's “core‐sheath” structure, our suture features a wet‐spun core of n zinc‐fortified silk fibroin fibers (RSF‐Zn2+) after drawing with ...

On the Theory of Dissipative Extensions [PDF]
We consider the problem of constructing dissipative extensions of given dissipative operators. Firstly, we discuss the dissipative extensions of symmetric operators and give a suffcient condition for when these extensions are completely non-selfadjoint.
