Van der Pol Oscillator, its Control Theoretical Analysis Using Dissipative Canonical Equations and its Lyapunov Function

open access: yesDüzce Üniversitesi Bilim ve Teknoloji Dergisi
In this research paper, beginning with the Lagrangian and generalized velocity proportional (Rayleigh) dissipation function of a physical/engineering system, the Lagrange-dissipative model ( {L,D}-model briefly) of the system is initially developed. Upon

Numerical simulation of heat transfer in microchannel using energy conservative dissipative particle dynamics

open access: yesAdvances in Mechanical Engineering, 2015
Dissipative particle dynamics is a particle-based mesoscopic simulation method. Classic dissipative particle dynamics cannot be used to simulate heat transfer in fluids since the total energy of the system is not conserved.

Dissipation Effects in Schrödinger and Quantal Density Functional Theories of Electrons in an Electromagnetic Field

open access: yesComputation, 2018
Dissipative effects arise in an electronic system when it interacts with a time-dependent environment. Here, the Schrödinger theory of electrons in an electromagnetic field including dissipative effects is described from a new perspective. Dissipation is

Synchrotron Radiation for Quantum Technology

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
Materials and interfaces underpin quantum technologies, with synchrotron and FEL methods key to understanding and optimizing them. Advances span superconducting and semiconducting qubits, 2D materials, and topological systems, where strain, defects, and interfaces govern performance.

Prospects of Electric Field Control in Perpendicular Magnetic Tunnel Junctions and Emerging 2D Spintronics for Ultralow Energy Memory and Logic Devices

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
Electric control of magnetic tunnel junctions offers a path to drastically reduce the energy requirements of the device. Electric field control of magnetization can be realized in a multitude of ways. These mechanisms can be integrated into existing spintronic devices to further reduce the operational energy.

Dissipative Sturm-Liouville Operators with Transmission Conditions

open access: yesAbstract and Applied Analysis, 2013
In this paper we study dissipative Sturm-Liouville operators with transmission conditions. By using Pavlov’s method (Pavlov 1947, Pavlov 1981, Pavlov 1975, and Pavlov 1977), we proved a theorem on completeness of the system of eigenvectors and associated

Low‐Symmetry Weyl Semimetals: A Path to Ideal Topological States

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
This study presents a theoretical framework for realizing ideal Weyl semimetals, where Weyl nodes are well‐isolated at the Fermi level. The approach is exemplified in the low‐symmetry material Cu2SnSe3, which exhibits tunable topological phases, current‐induced orbital magnetization, and a strong circular photogalvanic effect, making it a promising ...

Structural-information parameters of dissipative structures on DILIS-M system surface

open access: yesMoldavian Journal of the Physical Sciences, 2006
In the present paper there are considered problems concerning analysis of stability of dissipative structures with viscous friction, i.e. dielectric liquid metal electrode (DILIS-M).

Laser‐Induced Graphene from Waste Almond Shells

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
Almond shells, an abundant agricultural by‐product, are repurposed to create a fully bioderived almond shell/chitosan composite (ASC) degradable in soil. ASC is converted into laser‐induced graphene (LIG) by laser scribing and proposed as a substrate for transient electronics.
