Open Dislocation of the Scaphoid With an Associated Hamate Fracture and Fourth Metacarpal Fracture

open access: yesJournal of Hand Surgery Global Online
Scaphoid dislocation represents a rare injury with only a few case reports and limited case series reported in the literature. The majority of scaphoid dislocations result from a high-energy trauma causing hyperextension and ulnar deviation of the wrist.

Dissociation in circulant graphs and integer distance graphs

open access: yes
A dissociation set of a graph $G$ is a set of vertices which induces a subgraph of $G$ with maximum degree at most $1$, or equivalently, a set of vertices whose complement in $G$ is a $3$-path vertex cover (intersecting every $3$-path of $G$).

Anti‐CD19 CAR T Cells in Autoimmune Encephalitis: Inflammation Controlled, Neurodegeneration Unchecked?

open access: yesAnnals of Clinical and Translational Neurology, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Just recently, successful chimeric antigen receptor (CAR) T cell therapy was reported in the first patient with refractory, anti‐diacylglycerol lipase alpha (DAGLA) antibody‐mediated autoimmune encephalitis, achieving partial clinical remission.

Recurrent Hypothermia and Autonomic Dysfunction Secondary to Shapiro Syndrome

open access: yesAnnals of Clinical and Translational Neurology, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT A 44‐year‐old man presented with recurrent hypothermia, diaphoresis and hypertension. Extensive investigation for infectious, inflammatory, metabolic and endocrine aetiologies was negative. MR scan of the brain demonstrated no lesions but revealed callosal dysgenesis, consistent with Shapiro syndrome.

Impact of Plasma p‐tau181 on Cognition, Motor Phenotypes, and Disease Course in ALS

open access: yesAnnals of Clinical and Translational Neurology, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Phosphorylated tau181 (p‐tau181), an Alzheimer's disease biomarker, was recently evaluated in amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS). We investigated plasma p‐tau181 in 202 ALS/ALS‐FTD patients and 94 healthy controls, assessing cognitive performance, motor function, and longitudinal dynamics.

Determination of the degree of dissociation of hydrogen in high - frequency low - temperature plasma

open access: yes, 2012

Studies on the dissociation of rare-earth chromogenic reagent chlorophosphonazo-mK (CPAmK) [PDF]

open access: yes, 1990
220-226The degree of dissociation of CPAmK has been studied by potentiometric and spectrophotometric methods. The dissociation constant of each step has been determined and thermodynamic constants G°,  H°,  S° of the dissociation process have been ...

Subclinical Optic Nerve Involvement in Radiologically Isolated Syndrome: Multimodal Detection and Diagnostic Impact

open access: yesAnnals of Clinical and Translational Neurology, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Objectives We aimed to determine the frequency of subclinical optic nerve (ON) lesions using MRI, optical coherence tomography (OCT), and visual evoked potentials (VEP) in radiologically isolated syndrome (RIS), and to assess their diagnostic and prognostic significance.

Influence of an Argon/Silane Atmosphere on the Temperature of a Thermal Plasma

open access: yesAdvanced Engineering Materials, EarlyView.
The influence of a silane‐doped argon atmosphere on the chemical composition and temperature of a thermal nontransferring argon plasma is investigated using optical emission spectroscopy. As a result of the high amount of free electrons resulting from the stepwise ionization and dissociation of the silane molecule, even a silane addition of 0.01 vol ...
