2D Magnetic and Topological Quantum Materials and Devices for Ultralow Power Spintronics

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
2D magnets and topological quantum materials enable ultralow‐power spintronics by combining robust magnetic order with symmetry‐protected, Berry‐curvature‐driven transport. Fundamentals of 2D anisotropy and spin‐orbit‐coupling induced band inversion are linked to scalable growth and vdW stacking.

Beyond the Edge: Charge‐Transfer Excitons in Organic Donor‐Acceptor Cocrystals

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
Complex excitonic landscapes in acene–perfluoroacene cocrystals are unveiled by polarization‐resolved optical spectroscopy and many‐body theory. This systematic study of a prototypical model system for weakly interacting donor–acceptor compounds challenges common views of charge‐transfer excitons, providing a refined conceptual framework for ...

Factors influencing the effectiveness of case management interventions for suicide attempters in a psychiatric hospital

open access: yesPCN Reports
Aim Preventing suicide reattempts is important; however, few evidence‐based treatments are available. In Japan, the ACTION‐J study helped implement case management for suicide attempters in general hospitals and reduced suicide reattempts over a period ...

A review of the dissociative disorders: from multiple personality disorder to the posttraumatic stress

open access: yesAnales de Psicologia
In this paper we review the idea of dissociation, dissociative disorders and their relationship with the processes of consciousness. We will deal specifically with multiple personality disorder and posttraumatic stress disorder.

Engineering Strategies for Stable and Long‐Life Alkaline Zinc‐Based Flow Batteries

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
Alkaline zinc‐based flow batteries face persistent challenges from unstable zinc deposition, including dendrite growth, passivation, corrosion, and hydrogen evolution, which severely limit cycling stability. Current research addresses these issues through coordinated electrode structuring, electrolyte regulation, and membrane design to control zinc ...

Structure Formation in Butterfly Scales: Interplay of Genetic Control, Mechanical Instabilities, and Dynamic Material Properties

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
Butterfly wing scales are intricate cuticular functional nanosctructures. This perspective suggests that spatially varying material properties, cytoskeletal constraints, and growth‐driven mechanical instabilities shape the resulting nanoscale architectures created from single cells.
