Alkaline Degradation of Dissolved Organic Matter
Acta hydrochimica et hydrobiologica, 2003AbstractThe degradation of dissolved organic matter (DOM) was studied in alkaline solution. The products were characterised using UV/vis spectroscopy, size‐exclusion chromatography (SEC), and by the analysis of low‐molecular‐weight organic acids (LMWOA).

Dissolved organic matter characterization of biochars produced from different feedstock materials.
Journal of Environmental Management, 2019Fluorescence excitation-emission matrix (EEM) spectroscopy coupled with parallel factor analysis (PARAFAC) enables better understanding of the nature of dissolved organic matter (DOM).

Dissolved Organic Matter in Oceanic Waters
Journal of Oceanography, 2003The amount of information on oceanic dissolved organic matter (DOM) has increased dramatically in the last decade thanks to the advances in chemical characterization. This information has supported the development of some novel and important ideas for DOM dynamics in the ocean.

Sonochemical reactions of dissolved organic matter
Research on Chemical Intermediates, 2004Property changes of Aldrich and Pahokee peat dissolved organic matter (DOM) at different ultrasonic frequencies and energy densities were systematically investigated. Exposure of DOM to ultrasound resulted in decreases in TOC, Color465, specific UV absorbance (SUVA), aromaticity and molecular weight, while DOM acidity increased.
