Left Distal Radial Artery Access Site in Primary Percutaneous Coronary Intervention: Is It Safe? [PDF]
Background: Left distal radial artery access site has emerged as a new technique for coronary angiography procedures. Aims: We aimed at assessing its applicability as an alternative way for primary percutaneous coronary interventions in ST-elevation ...

Distal radial access. Occlussion of the radial artery after percutaneus coronary intervention with radial access [PDF]
In 2015, The European Society of Cardiology for Acute Coronary Syndrome recommended that Class I use radial as the preferred access method for any percutaneous coronary intervention regardless of clinical presentation.

Methods for increasing distal radial artery diameter.
Our study aimed to find the maximum rate of increase in distal radial artery size.Diameter measurements were obtained on transverse and sagittal sections of the artery with a high-frequency linear transducer (Philips ClearVue L12-4 Mhz). In the baseline evaluation, radial artery and distal radial artery diameters were measured.

Radial artery as conduit for distal renal artery reconstruction [PDF]
Reconstruction of the renal artery with both saphenous vein and prosthetic material as bypass graft is durable in atherosclerotic disease. Extensive experience with saphenous vein grafts in pediatric patients and patients without atherosclerosis reveals a disturbing incidence of vein graft aneurysm degeneration.

Carotid Artery Stenting Using Five-French Distal Radial Vascular Access
Carotid artery stenting (CAS) is usually performed through a femoral vascular access using 6–9 Fr guiding catheters. We investigated whether a systematic distal radial approach using 5 Fr guiding sheaths was a safe and effective alternative to ...

Idiopathic Aneurysm of the Distal Radial Artery in the Fossa Tabatiére. [PDF]
The aneurysms of the radial arteries are extremely rare. Aneurysm of the radial artery is defined as a focal dilation of all components of the vascular wall to a diameter greater than 1.5 times its lumen. In our case report, we present the diagnosis, management, and angiosurgical treatment of a patient with an extremely rare case of aneurysm on the ...
