Waveguide Photoactuators: Materials, Fabrication, and Applications
Waveguide photoactuators convert guided light into mechanical motion. Their tethered‐flexible design enables minimally invasive surgery and confined‐space robotics. This review aims to guide materials selection, device design, and system integration, accelerating the transition of waveguide photoactuators from laboratory prototypes to versatile ...

Molybdenum (Mo), with its unique strength, uniform corrosion, and radiopacity, enables innovative biodegradable implants for transformative stroke therapy. Abstract Neurovascular implants for stroke intervention face a critical dilemma: permanent devices (e.g., nitinol stents, platinum coils) often trigger chronic inflammation and recurrence, whereas ...

REEP1 contributes to endoplasmic reticulum (ER) shaping. Variants either cause cortical motoneuron degeneration and hereditary spastic paraplegia (HSP) or spinal motoneuron degeneration and distal hereditary motor neuropathy (dHMN). Knockout causes less complex ER structures and cortical motoneuron loss.

Advanced Therapeutic Approach Based on LDHs–Mimetic Oxidoreductase
Overview of Sructure, Multienzyme‐mimicking Activity and Advanced Therapeutic Approach Based on LDHs–Mimetic Oxidoreductase. Abstract Redox dysregulation is recognized as a key driver in the pathophysiology of numerous refractory diseases, contributing significantly to the progression and poor prognosis.

Abstract Bats possess the remarkable ability to fly, and with this, distinctive wing bone properties. We investigated the structural, mechanical, and compositional properties of the humerus, radius, metacarpals, and proximal and middle phalanges of Carollia perspicillata, an approximately 15 g fruit‐eating bat native to the Neotropics.
