Rotational deformity affects radiographic measurements in distal radius malunion
Malunited distal radius fractures are 3D deformities. The preoperative evaluation of the deformity and surgical planning are usually depended on plain radiographic measurements for corrective osteotomies. In most of the cases, the rotational deformity is

ABSTRACT Computed tomography (CT) of postoperative orthopedic cases can yield valuable clinical information, especially when radiographic findings are equivocal. Image quality can be adversely affected by the presence of metallic implants. Several studies evaluating metal artifacts on CT have been published in humans, but studies involving veterinary ...

ABSTRACT Background Approximately one‐third of the adult population is affected by hallux valgus (HV). Surgical interventions are successful in reducing deformity; however, postoperative complications are common. There is growing evidence for prehabilitation and rehabilitation strategies in orthopaedic surgeries.

We report a male patient who presented elbow stiffness and grievous malunion of the distal humerus due to delayed treatment after distal humerus fracture. A cementless and stemless resurfacing prosthesis was customized for the distal humerus based on contralateral articular anatomy using 3D‐printing technique with Co‐Cr‐Mo alloy.

Distal femoral complications following antegrade intramedullary nail placement
While antegrade nailing for proximal and diaphyseal femur fractures is a commonly utilized fixation method with benefits including early mobilization and high rates of fracture union, both intraoperative and postoperative complications may occur ...
