D-bounded Distance-regular Graphs

open access: yesEuropean Journal of Combinatorics, 1997
Let \(\Gamma\) be a distance-regular graph of diameter \(D\geq 3\). The paper gives all basic facts from the literature and all necessary notions, e.g. the notion of weak-geodetically closed subgraph of \(\Gamma\), the notion of \(D\)-bounded graph, etc. Let \(P(\Gamma)\) denote the poset the elements of which are the weak-geodetically closed subgraphs

Evaluating the effect of γ‐oryzanol on MASLD pathology using a medaka fish model

open access: yesFEBS Open Bio, EarlyView.
This study explores a liver disease called MASLD, which is increasing worldwide and can lead to serious damage. Researchers used medaka fish instead of rodents to test a food compound, γ‐oryzanol. Fish fed this compound had less liver fat and healthier gut bacteria.

On 14-regular distance magic graphs

open access: yesElectronic Journal of Graph Theory and Applications
Let G be a graph with n vertices. By N(v) we denote the set of all vertices adjacent to v. A bijection f : V(G)→{1, 2, …, n} is a distance magic labeling of G if there exists an integer k such that the sum of labels of all vertices adjacent to v is k for

On a distance-regular graph with an intersection array {35, 28, 6; 1, 2, 30} [PDF]

open access: yes, 2019
It is proved that for a distance-regular graph Γ of diameter 3 with eigenvalue θ2 = -1 the complement graph of Γ3 is pseudo-geometric for pGc3 (k, b1/c2). Bang and Kooien investigated distance-regular graphs with intersection arrays (t + 1)s, ts, (s + 1 -

Gravity‐Dependent Modulation of Downbeat Nystagmus: Insights From Velocity‐Storage Dysfunction

open access: yesAnnals of Clinical and Translational Neurology, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Objective Downbeat nystagmus varies with head position, a phenomenon termed gravity‐dependent modulation. We aimed to clarify its mechanism using a velocity‐storage model. Methods In 10 patients with downbeat nystagmus due to cerebellar disorders, we recorded eye movements at different pitch‐ and roll‐axis head positions.

ON \(G\)-VERTEX-TRANSITIVE COVERS OF COMPLETE GRAPHS HAVING AT MOST TWO \(G\)-ORBITS ON THE ARC SET

open access: yesUral Mathematical Journal
We investigate abelian (in the sense of Godsil and Hensel) distance-regular covers  of complete graphs with the following property: there is a vertex-transitive group of automorphisms of the cover which possesses at most two orbits in the induced action ...

Cumulative Social Disadvantage and Disease Activity in Juvenile Idiopathic Arthritis: A Childhood Arthritis and Rheumatology Research Alliance Registry Study

open access: yesArthritis Care &Research, EarlyView.
Objective Social determinants of health (SDOH) contribute to juvenile idiopathic arthritis (JIA) disparities, but most studies have assessed SDOH independently rather than cumulatively across individual, family, and neighborhood levels. Using a socioecological framework, we investigated the relationship among cumulative social disadvantage ...

Mechanochemical Synthesis and Characterization of Nanostructured ErB4 and NdB4 Rare‐Earth Tetraborides

open access: yesAdvanced Engineering Materials, Volume 27, Issue 6, March 2025.
ErB4 and NdB4 nanostructured powders are produced by mechanochemical synthesis. 5 h mechanical alloying and 4 M HCl acid leaching are used in the production. ErB4 and NdB4 powders exhibit maximum magnetization of 0.4726 emu g−1 accompanied with an antiferromagnetic‐to‐paramagnetic phase transition at about TN = 18 K and 0.132 emu g−1 with a maximum at ...

A bound for the number of columns l(c,a,b) in the intersection array of a distance-regular graph [PDF]

open access: yes, 2003
In this paper we give a bound for the number l(c,a,b) of columns (c,a,b)T in the intersection array of a distance-regular graph.

What Do Large Language Models Know About Materials?

open access: yesAdvanced Engineering Materials, EarlyView.
If large language models (LLMs) are to be used inside the material discovery and engineering process, they must be benchmarked for the accurateness of intrinsic material knowledge. The current work introduces 1) a reasoning process through the processing–structure–property–performance chain and 2) a tool for benchmarking knowledge of LLMs concerning ...
