Automated CLL cell population detection using a weakly supervised approach and CLL MRD flow cytometry data

open access: yesCytometry Part B: Clinical Cytometry, EarlyView.
Abstract Minimal/measurable residual disease detection is routinely performed as part of post‐diagnostic treatment plans for many types of cancer, for which multiparameter flow cytometry is one possible modality frequently used. We propose a machine learning approach for binary prediction of minimal residual disease status with flow cytometry data. Our

Ginseng polysaccharides prevent mastitis through Lactobacillus murinus‐derived deoxycholic acid and TGR5 signaling

open access: yesiMetaOmics, EarlyView.
Prebiotic Ginseng polysaccharides (GP) alleviate mastitis through selective enrichment of gut L. murinus, which elevates its anti‐inflammatory metabolite deoxycholic acid (DCA). Circulating DCA engages mammary epithelial TGR5 receptors, triggering the cAMP–PKA pathway to suppress NF‐κB/NLRP3‐mediated inflammation.

Domination in 4‐Regular Graphs With No Induced 4‐Cycles

open access: yesJournal of Graph Theory, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT A set S $S$ of vertices in a graph G $G$ is a dominating set of G $G$ if every vertex not in S $S$ is adjacent to a vertex in S $S$. The domination number of G $G$, denoted by γ ( G ) $\gamma (G)$, is the minimum cardinality of a dominating set in G $G$.

Brokering Localization: Country‐Based Pooled Funds in Humanitarian Assistance

open access: yesPublic Administration and Development, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT This article analyzes Country‐Based Pooled Funds (CBPFs) to identify types of brokerage models and their effects on localization. CBPFs are intermediaries in the aid chain connecting donors to implementers such as the United Nations, international non‐governmental organizations (INGOs) and national NGOs (NNGOs). This paper analyzes four of the

Spectra of graphs and closed distance magic labelings

open access: yesDiscrete Mathematics, 2016
Let $G=(V,E)$ be a graph of order $n$. A closed distance magic labeling of $G$ is a bijection $\ell \colon V(G)\rightarrow \{1,\ldots ,n\}$ for which there exists a positive integer $k$ such that $\sum_{x\in N[v]}\ell (x)=k$ for all $v\in V $, where $N[v]$ is the closed neighborhood of $v$.

Speciation with gene flow

open access: yesPLANTS, PEOPLE, PLANET, EarlyView.
Biodiversity is threatened by human activities, with extinction debt accumulating rapidly. Many of these activities change the connectivity of populations, fragmenting existing population systems or bringing previously isolated populations or species into contact.

A note on Distance Magic and Distance antimagic graphs

open access: yesElectronic Notes in Discrete Mathematics, 2015
Abstract Let G = ( V , E ) be a graph of order n. The graph G is said to be distance magic if there exists a bijection f : V ( G ) → { 1 , 2 , … , n } such that for all v ∈ V , w ( v ) = ∑ u ∈ N ( v ) f ( u ) is a constant, called vertex magic constant.

A Biomimetic Micro‐Nano System Maximizing ‘Active Transport and Retention’ Effect in Solid Tumors

open access: yesSmall, EarlyView.
The Active Transport and Retention (ATR) strategy is realized using a biomimetic micro‐nano system (PG@BAM‐LRC), achieving superior tumor accumulation and efficacy in low‐EPR pancreatic tumors. Platelet (PG)‐derived microcarriers enable tumor‐homing and MMP‐9‐responsive release of nanoliposomes (LRC), while berbamine (BAM) promotes transendothelial ...

Group distance magic cubic graphs

open access: yes
A $Γ$\emph{-distance magic labeling} of a graph $G = (V, E)$ with $|V| = n$ is a bijection $\ell$ from $V$ to an Abelian group $Γ$ of order $n$, for which there exists $μ\in Γ$, such that the weight $w(x) =\sum_{y\in N(x)}\ell(y)$ of every vertex $x \in V$ is equal to $μ$. In this case, the element $μ$ is called the \emph{magic constant of} $G$.
