Interplay Between Oxidation State, Intervalence Charge Transfer Transitions and Electronic Conductivity in a Series of Ru‐Based Metal–Organic Frameworks

Ru‐based square‐grid metal–organic frameworks undergo dramatic conductivity enhancements after chemical oxidation. The mixed‐valent states exhibit the highest conductivity values, which correlate with the appearance of intervalence charge transfer bands.

Advance in One‐Pot Synthesis of Polymer‐Coated Nanogold: Au(III)–Monomer Redox Reaction Initiates Radical Polymerization and Produces a Potential Nanotag Platform

Gold nanoparticles are prepared simultaneously with the formation of a polymer, whose growth is initiated by direct interaction of Au(III) with a vinyl‐type monomer. Nanoparticles produce stable, bioorthogonal SERS signal originating from an isonitrile/carbene‐type functionality covalently anchored to the gold surface.

A distance magic labeling of a graph of order \(n\) is a bijection from the vertex set to \(\{0,1,\dots,n-1\}\) such that the sum of neighbors of any vertex is the same. Magic labellings of graphs have been studied as a generalization of magic squares. A central question has been to identify which graphs admit such labelings.
