When Super (Wo)man Fails to Appear: Beyond Idealized Prototypes in Crisis Leadership
ABSTRACT Crisis leadership has been a topic of interest for nearly a century. Recent works present an idealized, gendered template for such leadership by casting men as masculine protectors or superheroes and women as feminine nurturers or selfless, relational superwomen.

Birds are known to harbour a wide range of pathogenic viruses, including the beak and feather disease virus (BFDV; species, Circovirus parrot), which poses a significant threat to the conservation of endangered avian species. This study reports the genomic identification and characterisation of a novel psittaciform chaphamaparvovirus (PsChPV‐6) and ...

Abstract The structures of silica (SiO2) glasses at high pressure provide insight into the thermo‐mechanical properties of chemically complex amorphous oxides upon stress, compression, and indentation. While much of our knowledge on glass structures has been garnered from high‐resolution solid‐state nuclear magnetic resonance (NMR) by probing the ...

A plant viral effector subverts FER‐RALF1 module‐mediated intracellular immunity
Summary The receptor‐like kinase FERONIA (FER) is a prominent member of the Catharanthus roseus RLK1 (CrRLK1L) family, functioning as a modulator of immune receptor kinase complex formation in response to rapid alkalinization factors (RALFs). Typically, FER recognizes mature extracellular RALFs to combat bacterial and fungal infections.

A $$\varGamma $$-magic Rectangle Set and Group Distance Magic Labeling
A \(\varGamma \)-distance magic labeling of a graph \(G = (V, E)\) with \(|V| = n\) is a bijection \(\ell \) from V to an Abelian group \(\varGamma \) of order n such that the weight \(w(x) =\sum _{y\in N_G(x)}\ell (y)\) of every vertex \(x \in V\) is equal to the same element \(\mu \in \varGamma \) called the magic constant.
