Knowledge‐based atomistic workflows are presented for mechanical and thermodynamic properties. By coupling modular simulations with ontology‐aligned metadata and provenance, Fe case studies on elastic behavior, defects, thermal properties, and Hall–Petch strengthening reveal how FAIR, queryable, and reusable simulation data can be generated. Mechanical

Scandium (Sc)‐doped AlCoCrFeMo HEA coatings are fabricated via flame spraying with 0.1, 0.3, and 0.5 wt% Sc additions. Among these, the HEA‐Sc0.3 coating exhibits the highest corrosion resistance, indicated by a more positive corrosion potential and lower current density.

Cathodic Cage Plasma Deposition of Nanostructured Cu–Fe–Se Coatings on Poly(methyl Methacrylate)
Nanostructured Cu–Fe–Se coatings are deposited on PMMA by a modified cathodic cage plasma process, enabling low‐temperature deposition on polymer substrates. A transition from discontinuous to compact morphology is observed with temperature, with optimal properties at 200°C, where improved CuFeSe2‐type bonding, lowest sheet resistance, and favorable ...

An Experimental High‐Throughput Approach for the Screening of Hard Magnet Materials
An entire workflow for the high‐throughput characterization and analysis of compositionally graded magnetic films is presented. Characterization protocols, data management tools and data analysis approaches are illustrated with test case Sm(Fe, V)12 based films.

Coarse‐grained (left) and atomistic (right) models of the shape memory polymer ESTANE ETE 75DT3 are shown schematically. The two representations bridge molecular detail and mesoscopic description. Both models capture shape memory behavior, linking segmental mobility and conformational relaxation of anisotropic chains to macroscopic recovery, and ...

Distance Measurement in Panorama
2007 IEEE International Conference on Image Processing, 2007Computing world distances of scene features from the captured images is a common task in image analysis and scene understanding. Previous projective geometry based methods focus on measuring distance from one single image. Hence, the scope of measurable scene is limited by the field-of-view (FOV) of one single camera.

A Benchmark for Distance Measurements
2018 International Conference on Cyberworlds (CW), 2018The need to analyze and visualize distances between objects arises in many use cases. Although the problem to calculate the distance between two polygonal objects may sound simple, real-world scenarios with large models will always be challenging, but optimization techniques - such as space partitioning - can reduce the complexity of the average case ...

Abstract Radical changes in the technique of distance measurement followed the introduction of long steel ribands, made possible in 1863 by Chesterman's patented process of treating continuous steel strip. Gunter's linked chains, which had been in use for over 250 years, were replaced by steel tapes up to 10 chains in length, with dramatic improvements

On The General Distance Measure
2003In [1993], pp. 44–45 the distance measure was proposed, which can be used for the ordinal data. In the paper the proposal of the general distance measure is given. This measure can be used for data measured in ratio, interval and ordinal scale. The proposal is based on the idea of the generalised correlation coefficient.
